    I never understood why anyone would want vim/emacs in VS.

    the intelligent autocompletion is vastly superior to anything vim/emacs has (atleast as of a year or two ago)

    Something better probably should exist, but that doesnt change the FACT that bookmarks are incredibly useful for damn near every person on the web.

    Oh please, nearly all performers constantly receive death threats. they are standard and not taken too seriously.

    The radio stations didnt need to lead, they saw the writing on the wall from the fans. It doesnt take a genius to realize that if you say unpatriotic things to a heavily patriotic populace, you will not have much support.

    That and the dixie chicks are talentless hacks that built their career on one song.

    People are always repeating that as a hard fact. but where is the proof?

    For all we know they could have been selling them at a profit right from the get go. people just assume they are selling it at a loss, and therefore STILL selling them at a loss.

    I agree with the quiting part, but they will fine the organization, no criminal proceedings will EVER occur over some licenses at a company (unless your company is counterfeiting them for resale of course)

    yes digg does have deep pockets. it is not some grassroots site anymore, it only plays one, it is a multimillion dollar business. it has the resources to atleast go to court, maybe not drag it out forever, but to stand up temporarily. then back down later if things look bad.

    You can sue anyone for anything in the US, but you cant go around using lawsuits as a threat.

    For a lawsuit to be legit it has to be the last resort not the first threat you pull out of the bag. not to mention it can never be and idle threat but a step by step escalation where legal action is warranted.

    He just put himself in an actionable position
