    Put simply, there's no better way of funding political campaigns unless you wanted to outlaw all forms of campaigning and allow any two-bit who wanted to run a slot on a public channel which is ... unfeasible. So, at the moment, it's the best system we have, and that's ... a bad reflection on humanity.

    It showed more of an interest towards their own pocket books than the software or their users.
    But... showing more interest towards their users is just a way of showing interest to their hip pocket because in a service industry user retention is vital. I'm not saying that's not a good thing, but it's kind of naive to think that good service is just for that alone and not ultimately to make more money.

    It's hardly diverting attention. It's calling on the fact that Mozilla receives a large portion of its funds revenue from a corporate entity aswell, and probably receives a larger share than just one-third and yet only Novell is being criticised.

    Sure every source has a link back. Maybe on the 0.1% of articles that have decent people working on them. For the rest, there's usually a "group" that reverts any attempt to remove uncited content.

Didn't go further? There may be an implication of reporting the persons involved but I can't see it.     Everyone always calls MS a convicted monopolist... however, based on what I know the conviction is unjust. How is putting I.E on by default ... bad? The same kind of people that use I.E because it's already there would complain that there was no browser if there wasn't a default browser.

    (This may be entering the realm of logical fallacy here, not intended) Imagine if the penalty for abortion was jail time. Would you agree with it? Would you go around labelling those who had abortions as "convicted abortionists"?

    Jimmy Wales himself tried to get *every* reference to Larry Sanger being an administrator removed and he organised it in the admin IRC channel, preventing oversight.

    Luckily, due to the fact he was so hopelessly misguided the fact remains in the wiki. The point is, for a wee bit, a lot of admins were willing to ignore all the guidelines and just obey Wales.

    Production costs of a music CD are minuscule to game production. DVDs are (supposed to, atleast in the current business model) make most of their money at the box office. The comparison is moot.
