Yeah well that's all well and good, but how many times can this feat be repeated and with what kind of capacity loss to the batteries? Kinda light on the details guys.
Why foist the burden on the manufacturers, when ISPs could clearly use this as a service model? ISPs could offer a porn-free, white-listed, internet service as an alternative to the full-buffet-of-evil Internet service, and let the consumers decide which they want to use.
Seriously Samsung, be different by being the same for a change! First they took away the removable battery, and then they brought it back, and then they took away the microSD card slot, and then brought it back. It's just like Microsoft, every 2nd product release is the good one.
How about we just get to the next stage where robots take on the other robots and we leave the human casualties out of this? When you're out of robots you need to surrender.
Smaller and lighter form factor for those people who don't like big phones.
"The Moto G4 Play measures 144.4 x 72mm with a curve from 8.95 to 9.9mm and it hits the scales at 137g, making it slimmer and lighter than the third generation, as well as the other fourth-gen models. The measurements for the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 are 153 x 76.6mm with a curve from 7.9 to 9.8mm. They also both weigh 155g."
Well except that there's a latent pre-existing distribution system already in place for electricity. To the author's point, it's going to be converted back into electricity for locomotion, so at that point it's basically another form of battery, but with no existing infrastructure for delivery at this point.
I like quite a few of their phones, but unfortunately they've never support the proper LTE bands to allow them to be used with TMobile here in the US. Please put Band 12 support in Xiaomi!
I guess they'll need to whittle down the picture content to make it suitable for quickly screening people. Must take a while to get through 500 images.

Well it's good to see someone being proactive about updates for a change. (As opposed to being on devices that never get patched.)
