I suffered from chronic gum disease and cavity prone teeth almost all of my first fifty years, spent thousands for just about every dental procedure you can imagine and was told over and over, "We can save your teeth".
I finally got tired of the constant pain and infection and had all but a couple of teeth removed. I have a full upper denture and a couple of teeth on the lower jaw to hold a partial in place. Best dental work I ever had done.
Dtecnet's website states that they have offices in Los Angeles, Paris and Vilnius but all contact is directed to Copenhagen. The site is pretty much void of details.
I guess we'll have to wait for the next court case to get an idea of how their online investigations work.
True, save for the fact that I had made calls from inside this store in the recent past with no indication of reduced signal. The day in question I got the 'No Service' message upon entering.
The only dead spot I've found here in SC is in the depths of the Francis Marion National Forrest but I turn my phone off there anyway out of respect for the Swamp Fox and his men.
Got my Centro three months ago and have not noticed any degradation of service during that time here in rural SC but AT&T reception has never been really great either.
I thought AT&T's network went down yesterday while I was out shopping only to realize that Food Lion, or someone in the store(?), was blocking cell phones for whatever strange reason.
Not to take anything away from Dr. Wurman's research but the tv program itself just seems staged, silly and reminds me of the old 'A-Team' show but without a Mr. T.
They are few and far between, but programs done about the National Weather Services' severe storm research center in Norman, Oklahoma are much more interesting.
Besides sensitive government computers, which for whatever reason need to be connected to the WWW, exactly what part of the US portion of the Web needs to be secured and why?
Thanks to politically-expedient pro-Union legislation, the Union's choke-hold on the automakers is such, that even now, at the time of dire crisis, GM, for example, is paying its American workers $10 more per hour, than Toyota.
Unions and employers negotiate in 'good faith' for salaries and benefits so employers are culpable if there is a discrepancy.
What "pro-union legislation" are you referring to? I've seen legislation on health and safety issues and a few other 'worker' related things but these protect all employees. Do you have an example?
Do you have a reliable source for your insinuation that unions have somehow caused American corporations to have a high tax rate? I'd really like to read it if you do.
According to Reuters it's $99 and movies are $1.99 after the first 25. Also they have a miserable 2000 movies but they are the latest from Hollywood, they say.
I exercise daily, teach myself new things that I've always wanted to learn, do a lot of reading and challenge my mind in many other ways. I enjoy a few beers or glasses of wine often and do a little weed now and then. I don't take any vitamins and I don't do diets. I'm 63.
I realize that I have forgotten a lot of information I needed to know for school, work etc., but I recognize that I have forgotten that information because I no longer need it and I replaced it with new stuff I like.
There is a history of Alzheimer's in my family so I also keep myself informed on the latest research regarding prevention.
This guy is hurting millions of hard working people who just want to be able to buy medication at a reasonable price when they need it. Too bad Express Scripts couldn't have hired some skilled person to hunt him down and quietly take him out at the first sign of this problem. He certainly deserves it.
After losing his testicles in one of his trademark 'thought inventions' gone horribly wrong, Mr Shampoo retired from inventing to become technical advisor for the Discovery Channel's 'Storm Chasers'.
... and the difference between a warm-up (and what it is you are warming up to do) and an exercise.
I've been a competitive swimmer, surfer, runner, cyclist and hockey player and have always warmed up by going through the motions of the sport in which I was competing. I also know that I'm a slow-twitch muscle (endurance) type athlete and what my limitations are; especially now that I'm an old fart a few months shy of 64 but who still runs every other day and surfs as often as possible.
Stretching is an exercise which can damage muscles, tendons and joints and should be done with the supervision of someone who knows what they are doing.
Isn't that choice limited by hardware and driver? With my asus adapter and the rt73 driver, I don't recall having any other option than TKIP. Also, similar attacks were started on AES shortly after it arrived on the scene.
I'd like to see the software that figures out the gender of all the Robin
I'd like to see bureaucracies and creditors here in the US that could remember that I'm a Mr Robin and not a Ms. I was born during WW II and named after Robin Olds, an ace pilot, so it's not as if I haven't been here a while.
A lovely little clerk once teasingly asked me if I was sure I was male. An offer to have a look at my genitals was declined (dammit!) but she was a good sport.
Because the state of South Carolina refuses to acknowledge that Elections Systems & Software (ES&S) voting machines are poorly coded, unreliable and easily hackable, I will never know if my vote was counted or what it counted for. Sure, the good-ol'-boys here have been rigging elections for a long time, including those using paper ballots, but I don't think it has ever been easier.
Surely, they must have determined that 'real' Debian users run emacs for the games.

You hardly ever have to worry about pesky OS upgrades.

I stand corrected. I skimmed the Reuters article earlier today on Techdirt and I really should have reread it prior to posting.
I meant to add that there was no mention of what those first 25 movies would cost.

Ah, okay. Must have been a Snap-on starter kit.

They called me Hawk in the Army and it wasn't for my vision. With my beak, this system would explode.

We've got plenty of alligators for our moats here in SC and they don't need pathetic little lasers.
Asteroid, meteoroid or hemorrhoid; what does it matter? They're all a pain in the ass.
