You are not forced to sign the contract unless you are forced to buy the product, and I believe that is not the case. There are other (and better) phones available.
I didn't say "can't even influence", but obviously, since you had to go all the way back to FDR and earlier, the influence is not all that big. The Lieberman-Warner bill in Congress now has the power, as I understand it, to change America into France, only without the nuclear power and cheese. Heaven forbid.
From what I can tell, at early grades at least, since my son is only in 3rd grade now, math is not getting "dumbed down". He is in a charter school with a better curriculum than the ordinary public schools though. I may change my mind when he gets to high school, so ask me again then.
Actually, I use a little utility called Launchy and whenever I want to start an app (not using the Start menu), I hit Alt-Space and type the first few letters and hit Return...
US Navy uses all Pressurized (light) Water Reactors. I was on a boat with an S5W reactor (S for submarine, W for Westinghouse). I did my prototype training (the hands on training that nucs do before going out to the fleet) in upstate NY at the D1G reactor (G for General Electric, D for destroyer). Also at that facility were a couple of interesting reactor designs, one of which used liquid sodium as coolant (it was no longer in operation by the time I got there in 1987) and another, called MARF, that used gadolinium-lined, well I don't know what to call them, but they were like toilets, and they were neutron moderators, so when you wanted to SCRAM the reactor you dumped the water out of them, like flushing a toilet, and reactivity immediately dropped to subcritical.
"..., if the company doesn't have a similar policy about use of company letterhead,..."
But people - back in the old days - didn't go to the cabinet and get some company letterhead to type a letter to their friend saying "what a cool concert that was last night and have you seen my bong?" - it wasn't necessary to have such a policy. It would be funny to see a letter like that, though, I'll admit.
This is not a troll. Hope it gets metamoderated...
As someone else pointed out, http://www.usscouts.org/advance/boyscout/religious.asp lists the official religious awards and includes Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, et al.

It may be that if you keep your stuff in La-La-Land, you'll be much happier.
There's an ironic thought: we could sequester all the "nasty" carbon in the vehicles themselves!
I first thought it was 1337-speak for US.
One word: azeotrope.
Oh, and they *don't want* people drinking it. I know it was a JOKE.
Stupid people need information too!
I tried to click on a link for a DIY Home Chemistry Experiment Book and got:

What- they were all ROT13'd and the virus ROT13'd 'em again? Lame.
It can't be over 29.9792458 because that would violate the laws of physics!

He said "all natural systems". Does that not leave the possibility that there are other kinds of systems?
and if they're smart they'll answer (1) *irrelevant - the POTUS doesn't control the economy, and (2) Yes.
*but other than energy costs, not too bad, and energy would cost less if federal laws and regulations didn't prevent more production here in the USA.
I'm wearing a 3 lb Casio (Pathfinder) watch I got about three years ago, you insensitive clod!
Estimating from the UID, quite a long time...ah, but you've only been here 15 minutes. How would you know?

No. But if I told you that they control pH to prevent corrosion...never mind.
That's got too many syllables for the tune.

Small nitpick: It was Christ who said "it is finished", not a centurion.
Even if it's not good for Science, it's good for A New Kind Of Science (TM)
Apparently, they don't cover that until "Thermodynamics 102".
