The exhibit is just as politically biased as you are.
Don't lump all us Republicans into the same whiskey barrel as Duh-bya. If you are going to claim political bias against something, especially one dealing with accuracy like the article, then don't give a biased argument against it.
Your comment is no more correct than the article: It's biased AND inaccurate.
Does the alloy release aluminum oxide AND hydrogen, or just hydrogen and/or oxygen??
If it just realeases hydrogen, then the title is correct. But, in the article, it says that aluminum oxide, gallium, and hydrogen are the result, yet it also says that the aluminum oxide isn't formed because of the gallium. Kind of a big difference between just hydrogen, and a bunch of other things.
The article doesn't seem to mach up with it's own chemistry.
I don't think modern medicine could fix a point-blank gunshot wound from a.44 cal Minié ball to the back of the head.
With the types of powders that were used in single-shot Derringers at that time, the amount of expanding burning gasses gas and burning powder that would have blasted out of the pistol after the bullet left the barrel would have done even more damage to the brain and soft tissues, especially at that range. The hot gasses and powder would have flash-cooked and surface tissues not destroyed by the initial bullet.
Even modern day fireams, which use quicker-burning powders that burn faster and more completely inside the barrel cause "tattooing" and flash-burns on the skin of someone that has been shot. Consdering that the powders used in Lincoln's time were far slower burning, and in a Derringer, the super-short barrels of that type of pistol would have ejected burning poweder long after (relative to the time of a gun to fully discharge) the bullet had left the barrel. In my experiences, guns that have shorter barrels tend to have a larger muzzle flash that guns of the same caliber that have longer barrels. A good example of this is the M38 Mosin-Nagant which, due to the shortened barrel and larger cartridge, earned the nickname "The Russian Dragon". The longer variant of the same rifle, the M44, which uses the same cartridge, has a pronounced, yet smaller muzzle flash.
The "scientist" is severely over-confident, and probably just wants to get his name in the news.
I don't think that this type of argument would stand a chance in any courtroom.
The argument Microsoft is makeing is similar to what the RIAA started doing to college students: Sending them notices saying the "They have been caught downloading songs, but would not specify exactly what was done wrong, and that they won't press charges unless they settle by paying a "Settlement Fee". Of course, by paying a settlement fee, in the way the RIAA structured it, you are essentially admitting guilt and paying a settlement. What Microsoft is doing is pretty much the same thing.

Officer: "You broke the law!"
Me: "What did I do?"
Officer: "We won't tell you until you admit guilt and pay restitution."
Me: "So what do you want me to admit guilt to?"
Officer: "To breaking the law."
Me: "What law do you want me to admit breaking?"
Officer: "We can't tell you that until you admit guilt."
Me: "So you can't tell me what law to admit guilt to breaking until I admit guilt to breaking the law?"
The Cult Of Scientology doesn't like Psychologists because they are people who know how to avoid CoS' mind games and tricks.
Scientology's hatred of psychologists is only a natural reation. It is fundamentally essential to the very survial of Scientology that they demonize and hate a group of people who are immune to psychological manipulation, psychological intimidation, and brainwashing. These concepts are the only things that allow Scientology to exist, and by demonizing the very people who specialize in undoing brainwashing, and are immune to psychological mind games, they are simply demonstrating a natural instinct to keep the church in existance by protecting, rather viciously, their Achillie's Heel.
In an interesting side note:
I wonder if Tom Cruise noticed the irony in the fact that he played the leading part in "War Of The Worlds", a movie where he has to defeat aliens who need to suck the blood out of human beings to keep their civilization alive, when CoS sucks the life ouf of anyone who dares to criticize them.
Now, if only ATI would tell it's Techs to stop blaming everything else whenever their are card problems.....
Every time I have had issues with their cards, ATI techs have *ALWAYS* blamed other components, other than the ATI card, whenever I called them with an issue. In the end, the problems really were the ATI cards, and not other things.
I even had an ATI Tech start of his diagnosis with "Well, I can argue that the problem may probably be with your motherboard or operating system." Of course, that is a perfectly valid statement, but every time I have dealt with other techs, they always asked me the standard list of Q's first; Operating system, processor, RAM, monitor, settings, motherboard, etc. Never in the entire course of the call did the tech ask me any of those. He just asked me what was happened, and proceeded to immediately blame everything OTHER than the card. In the end, it turned out that the card had burned out and that is wasn't a driver or hardware issue.
Of course, I told the Quality Assurance Rep. when they called to ask me about my experience.
Now I steer clear of ATI. I bought an EVGA card, had an issue, and got it straightened out, with no blame, in a matter of minutes. The problem was my video playback was very dark. Nobody blamed anybody.
The medicine that minorities get comes from the SAME LOTS as medicine that everybody else gets. Doctors do not buy cheap medicine to treat minorities and then buy expensive medicine for whites. They buy whatever medicine that they can afford to get their hands on to treat whoever needs it. They do not order medicine specifically for Whites, Blacks, or Asians.
And when it comes to infected blood, ANYBODY could get it. All of the blood goes through the same screening processes, and is subjected to the same scruitiny and standards as every other pint of blood. The only time blood is segregated is when it is screened for diseases, and classified by blood type: A, B, AB, O, etc.
I have yet to see a bucket of old, expired medicine, dirty syringes, and out-of-spec blood that says "COLORED" and a box of fresh, new medicine, sterile syringes and clean blood that says "WHITES ONLY".
Nice try with the racism angle. Take that crap somewhere else.

For me, work is more like a cartoon.....Dilbert, to be precise.
The author needs to work on his article titles.

What if you can't afford to pay the taxes?
If this were to be put into practice, it would become too expensive and financially pointless to come up with good ideas.

Hmmmmm.....

I think you mean 7250x more likely.
This truly is a stupid idea, and, having learned if it's existance, I feel even stupider.
I just shovel whatever coffee I can find into my mouth and then chew and suck on it like a wad of tobacco. No need for a mug and no need to spit.

This has been around for at least 12 YEARS.
Morons.
Hopefully, Lucas will find far better actors that the card-readers he casted in I, II, and III.
I'm sorry, but the acting was truly horrible, hitting the ultimate low point with Hayden Christensen.
Lucas needs to fire the idiots who find these people: They belong on QVC, rather than in a world-class movie/story.
I haven't had any "Big Red Button" disasters yet, but have had plenty of the "Little Red Wire" variety.
Maybe one of them will undergo a hideous mutation into Ted Kennedy and drive the craft into a pond.
Maybe one of them will evolve to at least the level of Ted Kennedy, and drive the craft into a pond.
