I saw them at Ozzfest a few years ago and they had the good sense to begin their set by telling the assembled that they shouldn't be downloading their albums from the internet and that we should "go fucking buy it."

To say the least, I've never downloaded a Godsmack album but I've also never bought one. Take about a bunch of fucking morons...I cannot wait for the day that they are working at a McDonalds drive-thru - available for me to abuse and spit on.

In a conflict between the democratic nation of Israel and terrorists funded and controlled by Iran and Syria, I'll side with Israel every time. It appears you'll take the opposite. Perhaps a terrorist will slit your throat.

It's quite pompous to assume that everyone is a decadant pig-dog like yourself. I often times have a single slice of toast. I suppose that doesn't jive with your over-indulgent Amerikan "culture" but that's a price I am willing to pay. I don't want to be a member of your fucking multiple slices of toast club asshole.

Now, next time you make a grand assumption like that, have some studies to back it up. You have no fucking idea how many people eat a single slice of toast and how many are fat jerks like yourself so don't state it as a fucking fact. You completely miss the point by focusing on this account. This account is a throwaway account. My first Slashdot account has a much lower number than both this account and your current account.

Again, I am not talking about the moderation done to posts made by this account.

I remember when Slashdot was a place where people could follow a logical statement. (I already told you that the moderation problems aren't showing up on moderation to this account.)

  18. Re:Reason for over patenting ? on Controller Comparison - PlayStation 3 vs. Wii · · Score: -1
I was not making the claim that this particular account was being moderated unfairly. I was making a much larger statement about the problems with the moderation system (and the fact that no one at Slashdot is willing to address it or even discuss it). The moderation system impedes intelligent conversation (you're not adding much here) and thus, I post total garbage because, really, what's the point? If you have an actual conversation, you know that if you don't say exactly what the prevailing opinion is, you'll be modded down. Worse yet, moderators are known to target accounts. (I have proof of this.)

Your logic was flawed. Please do better next time son.

Because the whole system is broken beyond repair and there's no chance of having an honest-to-goodness conversation on a topic with the pervasive groupthink pushed by the moderators and/or the admins with unlimited mod power?

Yeah, that's a good reason to not take part. Me - I prefer to just say fuck a lot. The moderation system is garbage and it causes people who would otherwise have an interest in a rationale conversation to behave irrationally (see my posting history).
