I believe xtianity may be the bloodiest because of historical reasons. Early histories, crusades, inquisition, witch burning, reformation, recent child molestations, etc etc. Lets not be purposely naive.
Clearly you have never looked into the history and teachings of Islam. They caused the Crusades, and their prophet was a pedophile (unfortunately, the prophet was the Perfect Man, so pedophilia is still a-okay). And let's not even talk about contemporary Islam, which kills hundreds or even thousands of people a year...
Ah, fuck it. Why do I even bother? People will hate the West and everything it stands for regardless of what anyone says or does (yet they refuse to move to obviously better and more advanced countries like Pakistan or Iran).
"Quite a waste" seems to describe most of the "European" initiatives and projects these days. Everything has to be "European." We can't go back to individual nations because that automatically leads to nationalism, and that auomatically leads to gas chambers and genocide, as everyone knows.
I face complex social issues in video games every day. Silent Storm presents me with difficult situations: should I sneak behind him and empty my pistol into his back, or should I kill him with a frag grenade? Where should I place this anti-personnel mine to maximize casualties? There are no easy answers.
Twilight Princess is good, I bought it for my GC. It took me over a week to finish it. I came to realize that it's entirely possible to make a game that's too long. By the second last dungeon, I was severely fatigued and just hurried to the end with a walkthrough. I think they should have made it shorter, but with more replay value. Still, despite the length, there's an asinine amount of content. Minigames assault you from every direction, there are nine unique dungeons plus one optional one, and very little backtracking.
The graphics are quite remarkable considering that they're running on a GameCube. The character design is phenomenal, and easily beats many modern PC releases and their insane system requirements (NWN2!). It's not just how the characters look, but how lifelike and detailed their animations are (I like Midna's "idle" animations and sound effects when she's riding Wolf Link).
2nd) Neverwinter Nights 2 (PC): Only here on the basis of the 1.03 patch, without which the game is nigh-on unplayable. Finally, a decent successor to Baldur's Gate 2. Should get better over time, as more 3rd party modules start appearing. It'd be really nice if we could get an expansion with epic levels in 2007.
NWN2 is absolutely horrible compared to BG2. Even if they ironed out all the bugs, it would still be an uninspired, bland and mediocre game.
I don't understand where people get their spyware from. How do they manage to clog up their machines? Do they type "how do i get spyware kthnx bai" into Google?
Agreed. I don't even own an MP3 player. "iPod generation" is a stupid name.
Also, I like this part:
Ali Kuwait, 19, who is studying civil engineering at Brevard Community College, said he recently watched a clip on YouTube that made a convincing case that NASA's moon landings between 1969 and 1972 were faked. Repeating an old myth that NASA has not been able to kill, Kuwait said: "The moon thing was not real."
Yes, Ali, it was all staged by the fucking Global Zionist Conspiracy, Inc.
I'm as jaded as any Internet user, but there are a couple of TV shows that have had such vomit-inducing violence that I refuse to watch them anymore. But shit, that's just television, nobody watches that. Clearly we should be more worried about violent videogames, where you're almost always the good guy, and usually just shoot people.
In the pictures, you can see a watch that a student made after three years of studying. It looks insanely complicated. Really amazing. I'd love to see the insides of a really complex watch.
The PS3 will win over the hardcore gamers who have to have the fastest, most amazing machine available.
People who buy a console because of its hardware are not hardcore gamers, they're assclowns. Hardcore gamers are primarily concerned with games, as the term implies.
Ok, this wasn't terribly on topic but I had to get it off my chest.
In the Japanese anime show Ergo Proxy, they have all sorts of androids ("autoreivs"), including child models that families can use as surrogate children. One of the characters is a child android, and she actually develops like a real child by mimicking other people (I mean, she can literally just stand there and repeat something someone said or did). This is actually similiar to how an AI is developed in the game A Mind Forever Voyaging, where the AI goes through an entire simulated life. I've been wondering if that's the only real way to make a truly intelligent AI. Or at least the easiest way. Also, regarding Ergo Proxy, the androids are plagued by a virus called cogito (ergo sum), that makes them self-aware. This is a big no-no to people, so those androids are terminated. So yeah, people don't necessarily want machines that can act contrary to the owner's wishes.
Long lifespans are for people who've never visited retirement homes. It always amuses me when women boast about the fact that their lifespans are longer than ours. They're in for a suprise when they're wearing diapers and having heated debates with imaginary people, if they aren't simply staring at the television or nearest wall. These people are still in relatively good shape, compared to those who just lay in bed, wallowing in their own piss and shit. I will gladly leave the stage before I'm old enough for that.
The ads are for Counter-Strike 1.6, (HL) not Counter-Strike: Source (HL2). Both games are also available as standalone retail products. Even if you don't buy the standalones, you still end up paying for HL/HL2.
I can't believe NWN2 got 5th place on Gamespy. User reviews have been nothing but negative, and even the reviews by gaming sites seem less than enthusiastic, but it still got pretty high scores. Atari probably lacked the funds to bribe anyone, so I don't know what happened there.
Allah and God are completely different deities.
The past 1900 years, and since 100 AD? I think you either got the years wrong or you're just delusional.

Just because Wikipedia isn't 100% accurate at all times doesn't mean that it's useless as a source of information, especially very basic information.
How about Flash? I don't know how suitable it would be for live steams, though.
I don't know why we're talking about the weather, but 1C/33F here in Finland. We're still waiting for the winter to start.
I hope you have a good firewall, since you obviously can't download security updates and patches from Microsoft.

I've never had a single virus or spyware infection in my life. They're a completely overrated threat.
This subject is discussed in Humanity: A Moral History of the 20th Century by Jonathan Glover.

Yeah, this was my first thought, too. I'm suprised that they're still so actively playing a game that was released over ten years ago (hurrr!).

cl_minmodels. It reduces the number of models to just one per side, but I don't know if it affects custom skins.

cl_downloadfilter nosounds
I wish I could also block the download of custom skins, but then I get error textures.
