"The first browser to offer tabbed browsing was InternetWorks, created by Booklink Inc., and winner of the Comdex show's Rookie of the Year Award in 1994. The program was renamed GNNworks the following year when it was bought by AOL and incorporated in their online client. (The same development team then went on to develop AOL's Instant Messenger application.)"
I first discovered tabs in Opera 5 - i just cant believe how no-one would jump from IE to opera when i showed it to them. What a choice.. all browsers pages in one program window or 5 million(-ish) open windows all over your desktop when that porn site went wild....
So you like fantasy films about the unbelievable, the supernatural, genocide, murder, homophobia, misogyny, magic - hollywood gives you that but not necessarily in one film.
"The moment religious folks stop mandating when I can and cannot get groceries because of their "holy" days and stop interfering with what my hypothetical children get to learn in school, I'll stop fighting them. Until such time, I will fight any and all legislation that boils down to "because my religion says it's good/bad" with all I have within me."
Hear hear..... once they are relegated to the same importance in the law etc as a football team fan club (which is basically what they are) then all the bashing will probably cease all by itself. Its their infernal interfering in other peoples lives that makes people angry.
You're making perfect sense, but you have to understand that Toyota does not allow Google to put ads all over every Prius and track the location and store information about every Prius driver and therefore Toyota is a monopoly.
But Toyota can't stop Google putting an advert on a Prius, maybe not in the Toyota factory but once it leaves the factory it can.
It would be best to have the MPG meter visible on the dashboard all the time as part of the speedometer. Specifically the one that shows the immediate effect of you pressing down the accelerator rather than the average usage - might be handy to have it alternate showing the value of the petrol you've just used as well - a bit like those pieces of gym equipment that shows you both the watts and the calories being used
Wow.. And I thought USA was a Christian country with Christian values etc, compassion, defenders of the poor and weak... Or is it that Christianity only works as long as it doesn't hit your pocket in any way? Does money trump Christian values??

The world would be much better off without religion. We'd all get along much better and be friendlier to each other. Religion is the real poison.
