You're missing the biggest point. Sony didn't just remove OtherOS from the Slim, they removed it from all current and past PS3s by a forced PSN update. This forced consumers to either keep OtherOS and lose PSN access, or give up PSN access to keeo OtherOS
How is transferring an mp3 to another device (still an mp3) format shifting, exactly? Its not format shifting when I take a cd from my house and play it in my car
Yeah but they were sold under the pretense that they could repair and expand, but every current and future PS3 cannot have its firmware downgraded, and doesnt have access to OtherOS (legally at least)
So once they run out of spares, theyre boned
Well, the current set up is fine. However if the Air Force wanted to replace broken PS3s or even expand the cluster, they couldn't. They could argue about Sony ruining their future scalability of their cluster due to the removal of OtherOS.

I didn't expect you to RTFA, but you could at least read the comment of the person you're responding to
You're completely wrong
Why would I bother selling something in a 3rd world country if my 1st world profits have to subside it? I'm better off getting the profits from the 1st world and just letting the 3rd world pirate.
One problem with your calculation. after 7 iterations, either it is the size of a room and costs $8 million, OR it is the size of a square foot and it cost $1 billion. You don't get both. Either you make the same computing power smaller, or you make that space requirement cheaper. In the real world, you get a little of both
Need I remind you the average IQ is 100? not everybody realizes nor accepts the points you just made.
Those aren't flying cars you're talking about, but roadable aircraft. There is a huge difference, actually
You see, the internet isn't a big truck, so you can't rely on the Ice Road Truckers; Its a series of tubes. The Tubes freeze up in the winter.
Xavier was not in a wheelchair when him and Eric went to meet Jean when she was a teen.
Tokyo is nowhere near fukushima. You can thank me for this tidbit of info with your first week's paycheck

128MB should be enough memory for anyone!

So, people used Sony's poor business model to their advantage, and you're mad at them? Don't hate the player, hate the game.

You can't explain that to these people
Sorry, I'm not in the drunk-finding business
Ahahahaha. You actually believe that the "License" between users and Sony is actually enforceable.

Which Indiana and Illinois are you talking about?
Don't be stupid? You are new here
What's it called now?

THINK OF THE CHILDREN
So you're saying the thing he's done was being a dictator's nephew...?
1 death is a tragedy, 10,000 is a statistic
