You were modded flamebait because of the "immature graphical rendering" line. And lets face it, unless you have a decent machine, eve looks like shit.

WoW maintains its look and feel across a broad range of hardware, something EvE can not claim.

Most teenagers are stupid when they drive, yet you justify your dislike of this device by stating they shouldn't have any restrictions on the speeds they drive at.

You stupid cunt, Fuck you. I've lost friends during highschool and on into college because they or someone around them panicked while driving.

I knew a girl who had her music so loud she didn't hear the fucking police car till they crossed into the intersection, where the cop plowed right into her going 60. I lost another friend who was killed after loosing control at a rail road crossing at 100. I've lost 11 friends to car accidents, some their fault, some not their fault.

So fuck off you arrogant piece of shit.

  21. Re:Shards on Server Structure in EVE Online · · Score: 2, Interesting

The player with the most skill points doesn't always win, because the player with the most skill points can still only throw around part of their skill points.

No single ship, can effectively engage any other ship.

A sniper battleship is a rather large investment of money(for some people) and a large investment of skill points. Yet a single determined ewar cruiser pilot with who has been playing for less than a month can prevent him from firing. A week old player in a frigate can be responsible for the death of a 3 year old veteran. The frig pilot may not be able to kill him on his own, but he can certainly prevent him from leaving the battlefield.

Training times increase geometrically, while the benefit from the skills remains linear.
