  1. I'm glad I don't have to give Intel road maps anymore. This is an 8th gem processor with i5/i7 core in how many chip sets, memory types, gpu types? AMD parts. Why not throw a RISC processor in to be sure.

  7. Is this a v57 only issue? I never upgraded to because v57 doesn't support one of my addons and didn't get this installed. How ironic that the new version installs an addon that nobody wants.

  8. One article I read said this traffic was using IPv4. I'm not an engineer but how would using IPv6 have affected this problem? Are blocks assigned the same way in IPv6 as in 4? Wouldn't it make it harder to target a particular block?

    I've noticed that iTunes nearly requires a link to the cloud. I thought the idea of a handheld device was so that you didn't have to have an internet connection. That might not be so bad on the phone but it sucks on the iPod.

  16. Comcast used a pop-up ad during the World Series game last night to advertise and upgrade to X1 or what ever it's called. That was in addition to the split screen battery ads they ran. If it wasn't for their competition being ever worse I would change providers again.

    I used to encourage the people in my group to maintain a current CV. Of course, that was when the company was taking a nose dive.

  20. I think you are correct. An audit of any military aircraft would find a similar rate. They are probably exceeding expectation considering the other problems it's having.

    My CO required us to plot contacts (course, speed and intercept course) on the radar screen using essentially a crayon (grease pencil) and nothing else. This on the fishing grounds with more contacts than could be counted trawling in every direction in weather you can't imagine. This was with a three man bridge crew. I can't imagine a Navy ship having a collision at sea today.
