Norway may have free press, but it must have the most crappy and populistic jounalists in the world. All major newspapers contain loads of meaningless information about celebrities, and tons of factual errors.
Almost everyone I know are sick and tired of their bullshit.
[a chainsaw noise is heard]
Bart: Hey! I found a shortcut through your hedge maze. Willy: Why you little --
[thinking] No, no, go easy on the wee one. His father's going
to go crazy and chop 'em all into haggis!
Bart: What's haggis? Willy: [gasps] Boy...you read my thoughts! You've got the Shinning.
Bart: You mean "Shining". Willy: [sotto voce] Shh! You want to get sued?
Now look, boy: if your Dad goes gaga, you just use that...Shin of
yours to call me and I'll come a running. But don't be reading
my mind between four and five. That's Willy's time!
Anyway.. I've never actually been to the pyramids myself, but I've heard that they are fscked up on the outside because tourists all take home a piece of it. If you look at pictures of them, it looks as if a giant bird has been nibbling away at them. They look better as you get to the top, probably because the lazy tourists don't wanna go all the way to the top.
I'd just like to emphasize that it apparently is an operating _environment_, not operating _system_. I guess there's a difference somewhere.. Also; they're pitching it at ugly people. Or so it appears.. They have a bunch of them on their webpage.
The combination IBM DB2 version 8/Mandrake Linux 8.2 will be exhibited on IBM's booth. This ideal low-cost e-Business solution is likely to open a new era of migration from other platforms.
That's one reason I like Stargate -- it's very grounded in current real life.
oh yeah.. Gua'oulds, travelling between dimensions,
travelling faster than light, zappers that first stun, then kill and then disintegrates people.. all very current real life-ish.:)
Uh.. Yeah. And this: http://www.mwscomp.com/movies/grail/grail-23.htm
BRIDGEKEEPER:
What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
ARTHUR:
What do you mean? An African or European swallow?
BRIDGEKEEPER:

I hope KDE drops that whole K-naming gimmick. Although I love KDE, and I use it every day, it's the one thing that I find downright irritating.
You mean kirritating , of course. :)
in Opera you can mark the text, right click for the menu, and then click "search" and you are sent to google. :)
what? what are you talking about? did I miss anything?
* Someone would have looked at the Ring and attempted to imagine a Beowulf cluster of Rings.
you should probably add something about the story on slashdot being posted multiple times.
As for watching DVDs while you drive... Well... that problem might just take care of itself (hopefully with minimal collateral damage).
Yeah.. that movie sucked.
my thoughts exactly.. time to learn COBOL, then. :)
I was about to suggest it. IMHO better product placement than Waynes World. :)

Opera has support for the Netscape plugin API. Actally the Netscape plugin support is in itself an Opera plugin, if I remember correctly :-)
