No emails in my inbox, have folders @respond for ones I need to respond to that I can't immediately, @reference for anything I might thing might be useful later, @payment, then several other folders for filtering work stuff I need to keep or auto filter clients to for response later
Emails that come in are dealt with immediately, responded to immediately and moved to @reference if I need to keep or deleted, read immediately if it's a mailing list or deleted if I don't have time (if I don't have time now, I probably will never have the time), @payment for purchases.
By keeping my inbox empty, I can deal with email extremely quickly and I keep my time wastage down, I tend to deal with emails once in the morning, and then once in the evening, keeps the rest of the day free to get on with work.
Just imagine if git had some other magical copy of the repo somewhere, maybe even on the local machine you develop on, now that would save your data in a case like this
My daughter plays with stones all the time in the garden, building hotels for bugs apparently, all these stones are just some bored kids trying to out do each other a few thousand years ago, it started off as a hotel for bugs (probably big alien ones - I've seen starship troopers), and now the "experts of the day" decide it's a place of ritual or worship...
I did, 13 years of working at home, the odd contract in an office to break things up.
I'm lucky to have found a few clients from the contracts who were happy to keep giving me work after I left, so you could try that route.
One problem I do have with working at home, is the wife nagging that I didn't do any house chores - I'm always pointing out I'm too busy working to worry about such things;)
Heisenberg and Schrodinger are driving, and get pulled over.
Heisenberg is in the driver's seat, the officer asks "do you know how fast you were going?"
Heisenberg replies, "No, but I know exactly where I am!"
The officer looks at him confused and says "you were going 108 miles per hour!"
Heisenberg throws his arms up and cries, "Great! Now I'm lost!"
The officer, now more confused and frustrated orders the men outside of the car, and proceeds to inspect the vehicle. He opens the trunk and yells at the two men, "Hey! Did you guys know you have a dead cat back here?"
Schrodinger angrily yells back, "We do now, asshole!"
There are plenty of phones out there that you can already replace everything on it, from cooked roms, to new dialers, new interfaces, you can even install android on some of them!
I recently installed modsecurity http://www.modsecurity.org/ for apache along with the rules from http://www.gotroot.com/ and it's done a good job of blocking attacks on my server including a lot of the php mail() injection attempts, whilst it has shown up a few false positives like someone posting a message with sql keywords e.g. "select" "from", it is certainly worth installing even if you have to monitor the logs for a bit afterwards to watch for the false positives and alter the rules accordingly.
Whilst it probably won't solve a lot of the problems with php and security it does help protect the server especially when you don't have control over what your users are uploading to their web space.
What you need is a copy of legitcontrolcheck.dll from any validated and activated copy of XP on a partition anywhere on your machine, then:
1.) create \windows\system32\ on any partition you want (even extended partitions) 2.) copy a validated 'legitcontrolcheck.dll file into the directory. 3.) you might need ntdetect.com and ntldr in the root, (try without)
I've been using firebug for a while, it's great, shows up errors on pages quickly and easily. This page alone has 10 CSS errors apparently:)
Between firebug and the html validator extension (requires html validator) http://www.htmlvalidator.com/firefoxext.php you can quickly pick up and find the errors on the page.

The passport owned to Chuck Norris, it makes all over passports run for the shredder
I have a feeling this is going to be a wanna-be vegetarian's version of a gateway drug. :D
Bacon is the only gateway drug
Not another cloud company, wonder what the latency is...
Please no, I once tried my mother-in-law on wine, the results were not good!
the problem is, the Great British Pound has devalued so much, it's no longer great :(
This could happen on any web page you happen to have visited and left open, in some cases the browser can be minimised and screen locked

Elon is digging himself into a hole again
He's going to have to dig deep on this one
Hope he doesn't get tunnel vision
He's going to a whole lot of trouble to go somewhere faster

Has it found the center of the maze yet

I demand my data is backed up before I've sent it to google!

Or just use more than 1 query, sometimes making things simpler and following the KISS principle when selecting data works far better than a join.
Some say, "he is actually the robot driving the autonomous cars... All at the same time"
Nuff said.
Like a cattleprod every time they don't submit a good bug report ?

For once I like my windows mobile powered phone ;)
I can't live without the real time train timetable service that provides info on current running trains (e.g. if they are late), timetables and more.
go to http://www.nres.mytrains.kizoom.co.uk/index/ enter your number and it'll send the bookmark to your phone.
