I guess it gives different people different results. Hacker
1) a programmer who breaks into computer systems in order to steal or change or destroy information as a form of cyber-terrorism 2) a programmer for whom computing is its own reward; may enjoy the challenge of breaking into other computers but does no harm; "true hackers subscribe to a code of ethics and look down upon crackers"
Just curious but is the preformace pretty similar to using a router?
I like my WRT54GL using tomato but I do miss the speeds from my old gigabyte dlink (not internet since I do not get a connection greater than 2Mbps but my home network transfers from computer to computer dropped from around 30 Mbps to 8Mbps.)
Using a switch or hub, wouldn't all the computers have the same internal IP?
Are there any good "dummy" resources for this? (I tried google but do not know enough about networking to really know what to search for.)
And RMS started GNU in 85. I was using e-mail before then. And I wrote an e-mail client as well... Yes, computers existed before GNU. So did compilers, many of the reasonably priced. So did shareware CD Burning apps, ammong other things
Were there really a lot of shareware CD Burning apps in 1985?
Of course, the issue on this thread was to install OOo if the company won't pay for the licensing of MSOffice. Up until you, there was no debate on which office suite was "better."
Tit is because of the phone company monopolies on wired service and their ridiculous pricing and rules structures that don't seem to have changed much since the 50s
This shows that capitalism works when not tampered by a monopoly.
The same companies that we buy the land line service from are also doing the cell phones service. The difference is the amount of competition.
linux programs can be installed without root access to the users home. As far as hijacking a domain, unless they manage to sign all their packages the same as the Debian ones, it wouldn't really matter.
While I would not be happy if I installed a program that deleted or destroyed all my personal files, I at least know that my brother or wife installing a destructive program on their user won't destroy my files.
In as much as Vietnam became Nixon's war.

While that would work, none of the post are worth wasting to mod points for.
They should turn off moderation for this article :)
Black is the new blue
You misread me if you thought I said that.
I am just refuting your point about some games not being available due to the accessibility of questionable downloads.
I think most 10-20 year old games are popular precisely due to the availiblity to download them over the past years.
That's why I play as Tux.
I don't hear linux zealots talk about security through obscurity.
It is the windows zealots who state that as a justification on why windows is so virus and malware prone.
For non-degree holders, titles are given instead of raises.
It makes us feel important and costs nothing.

In Texas, they only get the license plate.
You have to have the offending driver come to court with you and ask to have it transfered to their name.
You just go back to the people that do not know how to download buying bootlegs and cams at the fleamarket and from friends.
So no EU country outsources their customer service to India or elsewhere?
Add to that, they don't try to use their IP as a bat and instead state that they are pleased when people pick up their features.
That is pretty cool considering they are a closed sourse, out for profit company.
It is a shiny example of what coorperations can be.

And if google ignored rules and regs from sovereign governments, people would be complaining about how American companies force American values.
If they were qoting ratios that would be relevant.
How many more people own PCs now than when XP came out?

Where there a lot of cd burners back then?
That's funny. I find OOo more intuitive.
I guess it just depends what you are used to.

It's coming soon. It is even in one of their svn branches
If you use ubuntu you can test it out

I believe that they digitized Arnold after the third movie and they used a computerized model of him in the last one.
So you are referring to the 4th movies twice, correct? Or has there been a 5th one made and I missed it?
I understand denying the second highlander since the following movies did as well.
I guess you can ignore the last 2 terminator movies if you count TSCC
You see any copies out there with seeds? I did an quick check and did not.
