Yeah, I remember when HP had more going for them then just their sneaky business practices.
But c'mon, this is/.

Thank God EA has been stopped from absorbing yet another promising game studio. I was worried there for a minute.
As for the "no consoles" thing, they think the 360 is too weak? Are they kidding? There are a lot of people who can't even afford a 360, nevermind the PS3.. and they expect to market their game to the "teenagers with enough free time but also somehow have hojillions of dollars" niche?
Maybe I'm the minority here, but I don't find it very feasible to spend many thousands of dollars just for a system to play one extra game that I probably won't have the time to play. Not only that, but if this is the only game that will require such ridiculous system specs, why would we invest in such a system for some 40 hours of gameplay only to be left with a machine that overkills the rest of our collection?
It's sad that the only version that's really suited to gaming is Vista "Ultimate." Ultimate suck, maybe. I don't think I'm going to spend $499 on a POSOS. Hell, if I had that kind of money floating around, I wouldn't be able to complain about the PS3 pricing.
there are a lot of Christians like me who wouldn't hesitate to shoot those violent fucks if we caught them in the act......two wrongs don't make a right...To them it's just murder so they go out and murder......This is the essence of "judge not lest you be judged,"
I don't care what religious flag you people are marching under these days, you're still violent, unproductive, assuming, shithead hypocrites and you always will be.
Good luck trying to get into "heaven" with that bullshit while you're running around shooting people you think are such "violent fucks" that they don't deserve a proper trial.
..with World of Warcraft. Apparently the Blood Elves are space pirates who hijacked the Dranei's "dimensional ship." There was so much double-talk going on when they first released the lore. This is just a standard problem that will always pop up when people try to build on other people's stories.
Wouldn't a camera that takes such pictures require the assistance of some sort of super-illumination source in order to "film" the bits' status?
In effect, it would be a giant, somehow handheld, coverless (and therefore hazardous) CD-player.
..but video games were still around when I was a kid. Being grounded to my room included the removal of anything that I could enjoy doing. I don't understand why they don't just take his computer away..
Um, how about Sailor Moon?
It's never been said that the Sailor Scouts have to be representative of the nine plan--
Oh my god. It just occurred to me that I'm a nerd.
I counted the clicks, mouse movements, and keystrokes that it took me to get through one move of Civilization III in the year 1848. Many hours later, when that turn was done, I'd counted 422 mouse clicks, 352 mouse movements, 290 key presses, 23 wheel scrolls, and 18 screen pans to scroll the screen.
If it takes someone "many hours" to play a single turn in any turn-based game, I would imagine that it's not just the game itself that has a problem.
Also, like it has been mentioned above, Civ IV made many improvements upon it's predecessor aside from the improved graphics engine. These include, but are not limited to, more tile improvements, more unique units such as great philosophers, engineers, artists, and merchants, addition game modes, expandable mini-map, and better worker until control and automation.
Looking at screenshots usually isn't a good way to gauge how many technical improvements have been made.
Once this kind of technique prooves successful in real-world applications, maybe cancer-killing virus research will obtain more funding! As someone knowing people with so-far uncurable cancers, this makes me excited for the future of medicine.
I found that while the game was lacking in overall content compared to BG/2/IWD/2, the jump in graphics and character diversification more than made up for it. I like to consider NWN not so much of a great game as it was a great step in the right direction.
So, if this guy manages to add a werewolf model and attached transformation to his mod, I guess that will decrease the chances of us ever seeing a Bloodmoon-like expansion for Oblivion.
I want my werewolf.:(
My friends and I are all shining examples of such an effect. After playing MMOs together for years, we finally decided that we'd much rather just hang out in person.. and in public, no less!
In order to transfer information between two points, the behaviour of quantum particles have to be predictable when observed. The problem is that scientists have no idea what the spin on those particles will be until the exact second they're measured. All that does is define what the spin on the entangled particle will end up being.
This is, of course, only one of many current difficulties with quantum physics and entanglement.
Wasn't there just a big issue with people suing for copyright/trademark infringement when they only own the IP to do so? I was pretty sure that some kind of law was recently passed because of the new fad of beating companies to trademarks and then taking all their money.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for them?
That would be obvious. My question was whether or not their actual target market was such a great choice.

SURPRISE!!
Incoming 'truthiness' reference in 3.. 2.. 1..

No no, I was just being hypothetical. I liked Lumines.

Oh my god, I'm covered in Cheeto dust!? My mom said I'm allergic to Cheetos! Cheetos, girls, and rock music!
That sounds less like volunteering and more like voluntolding.

Now all we need are reliable ISPs so we don't have to spend 12 hours downloading each movie.

From some of the pictures I've seen of them, a few of those astronomers may have actually been there when it happened.
