The burried lead here is essentially that Democrats are insisting that Trump voters are easily misled idiots incapable of rational thought. BUT if they had believed different social media bias and voted for Clinton, then they would obviously be independent thinkers.

    Not all, but some.

This bit of your post is yet another example of the all-or-nothing, this-side versus that-side attitude that is the real problem. There are idiots and independent thinkers on both sides of the aisle and the sooner we all realize that and work from a place of cooperation, the better. And stop blaming the "other side" for not being able to get there.

    * As long as it is to their liking [the Right] push it as the only answer.

When the partisan bullshit stops, the us versus them is over, and the 'my team is better than your team' nonsense finally ends, then shit can get done and the nation can move forward. The football mentality of the current political climate will be the death of us all if this shit doesn't stop soon.

Compromise is the key, and dumbass shit like "the left/right has a hard time with reading comprehension" adds absolutely fuck all in terms of useful dialogue.

That sounds nice but the analogy is terrible. We have decided that "pilot" means a person who operates the flying controls of an aircraft. We have also decided that "autopilot" is short for "automatic pilot".

It seems that every time autonomous vehicles come up for discussion, every single possible use-case must be addressed. And when one oddly-specific use-case cannot be filled, the entire idea is garbage and without merit.
