And even when they get here (for subtitled anime), the fansubs are generally better because they're not americanised. Sloppily. Often losing much or all of the original meaning in the process.

And if streaming over the net is your thing, the pirated ones don't have ads. I'm watching an official stream for an anime right now - I wouldn't mind a 30 second ad at the start but they interrupt the show every 5 minutes and the quality is barely better than the pirated streams!

It's a matter of teamwork. When you work together it can be brilliant, but it's planned stuff, not spontaneous play.

For example, I managed to pull off jumping off one player onto another player who themselves had jumped off another player to let me reach a high altitude secret without a helicopter helmet dealie.

Why jump through hoops when I can download a cracked version in minutes? It's often easier to pirate something than acquire it through legitimate methods which is a large part of the problem.

Losses, my ass. The people who download cracked apps are either like me (I buy the app if it meets my expectation and delete it if it doesn't - 90% of my app purchases have been based off trying a cracked copy, and I regret the other 10%) or they never intended to buy it in the first place. You can't call it a loss if it was never going to be a gain.

Insightful my ass. I type almost as fast with my iPhone as I do with my keyboard. Feedback is available both visually (letter pops up to show which button you pressed) and audibly (click sounds). The odd slip of the finger is generally fixed by the iPhone's autocorrect too.

The only people who continually raise the issue with this are people who haven't used the product, or have and are easily frustrated. Or they're too old to learn a slightly new trick. Even my dad can type quickly with an iPhone when he uses one, and says it's much better and easier than typing on the blackberry storm which also provides the physical feedback, but then again, the storm (first version at least) is an embarrassment of a phone.

You forgot the two-faced backstabbing, the bald-faced lies, etc. Women are evil to each other in their younger years.

Not being any sort of expert on human behaviour, I can only hazard a guess that this behaviour stems from the instinct that other women are potential opponents when they seek their ideal mate.

Regardless of that I personally support a change of behaviour to predominantly "feminine".
