This unorthodox treatment has been shown to successfully treat infections caused by pathogenic bacteria colonising the gut."

    Shit transplants....we've gone too far.

Pretty much this. After Bitcoin, it was inevitable that copycats would come about. But a cryptocurrency with only redditors who actually believe in its worth, and 4channers scamming each other as the user base? Come on. This is not news for nerds. This does not matter.

As an aside, Ripple may actually be promising. If cryptocurrency is going to keep being a "thing", there ought to be more than one further down the line.

Heh, I was a Biology major, and Gen Chem kicked my ass. The whole time the professor kept telling us this is the worst of the chemistry classes, and once we took him for O-Chem things would get better. He kept baiting us by saying he taught O-Chem via synthesis of various drug compounds (LSD, MDMA, etc.). Shoulda stuck with it...

But it makes sense, then, that as a chem major you found O-Chem the hardest. I found Gen Chem to be no different from a math class (which is my weakest point).

You can put out a match by dipping it in gasoline.

....Maybe, if you're very quick. But the gasoline would be giving off vapor upwards, which the match would run into downwards. I've seen the old "dip your hand in water and you can dunk it in liquid lead" trick, but this sounds more like that "heat up a spoon with duck tape around the handle then put it in cold water*" cruel prank.
