    For the Lenovo's, just go to ebay and get a wifi card thats sold as Lenovo compatible. Doing a search there for "intel 7260 lenovo" or "intel 8260 lenovo" will turn up plenty of cards that will work, and are cheap too.

    The GUI is a confusing cluster fuck.
    Windows "Apps" are a joke, and need to be killed.
    Windows Update continues to be horribly broken.
    20+ years of bloat keeps stacking up higher and higher.

    M$ said the same thing with Skylake on Win7. And Skylake works fine on Win7, you just need to install the Intel INF drivers and the proper usb 3.0 drivers.

    So unless Intel refuses to makes their drivers for Kaby Lake work on Win7 (and I don't think Intel is quite that stupid), this is a non issue.

    Or to be more accurate, its more FUD and outright bullshit from M$.

    as long as you have shell access (doesn't even need to be root level) to an outside unix box running ssh, the great firewall is doomed. Its so easy to use putty to tunnel HTTP traffic, that almost anyone can do it.

    I may of linked to the wrong study, apologies in advance. I do know (and in the past, have read) that the DOJ did do a survey that showed that defensive firearm usage is much higher then previously thought. Wikipedia has a good summary of this.

    Clear evidence? Hate to say it, but even the Department of Justice under Clinton (no friend of lawful gun owners) says there are several million defensive uses of firearms per year.

    no issues blocking the 2 hostnames. I use a linux box as my router/firewall in my home network, and have blocked em. Neither my Win7 or Win10 boxes complain a bit.
