    forced OS upgrades, which often breaks the registry, poor control over Windows Updates, Windows update showing App store bullshit back onto the box even after you've removed it, etc.

    Only the LTSB enterprise version is usable, and even that gets annoying.

    We've invested so much staff time into figuring out how to neuter Win 10's bullshit "features" like Telemetry, crappy interface, beefed up UAC (that breaks plenty of applications that we use), broken profile management, and inflexible Windows update....

    Only reason we're even touching Win 10 is that 7 doesn't work well on a lot of newer laptops, and come 2020 M$ is dropping all support for 7.

    And how do you know he didn't need to be shot 3 times in the chest? The proper technique when using deadly force to defend yourself (or others) is to keep firing at the threat until such time the threat has stopped acting in such a way that requires use of deadly force.

    And the most effective way to stop such a threat is "drum role please...." shoot the threat in the upper chest area as many times as required until that threat STOPS. Sometimes a side effect of this is that the threat is killed in the process.

    My response is tell my isp that accusing me of a felony crime without proof is slander, and that multiple US Federal Courts have ruled that an IP address downloading something does NOT equal a particular person downloading something.

    I close my response by telling the idiots that if the Hollywood shit for brains lawyer at the other end has any REAL proof of me committing a crime, he's welcome to notify the sheriff's office or local DA. And, if I hear further shitty threats and accusations of slander from Hollywood shit for brains lawyer, I'll file complaints with the appropriate state bars.

    Interestingly enough, they don't seem to bother me anymore.

    I love reading when a company that is critical dependent on their IT infrastructure to function, cuts as many corners (and jobs) as possible in IT to save a buck, then has it all blow up in their face.

    Any more, you want fed proof email, 100% of the solution has to be fed proof.

    That means non US citizens as employees working in a fed proof country, and servers hosted in a fed proof country.

    I think proton mail fits this need well.
