The machines there (as seen on the 1981 Usenet map here as mhuxa, mhuxh, mhuxj, mhuxm, and mhuxv near the middle) were named after Greek gods. mhuxa was Murray Hill UniX "Apollo", the others were Hermes, Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. There was another, mhuhk "Heineken". I was little at the time but I used to play rouge and hunt the wumpus on Hermes with a ADM terminal and accoustic modem from home.

I'm against Obama's plan to give tax rebates to people that do not pay federal income taxes. I'm sorry, but, if you get a rebate for something you didn't pay for, that isn't a rebate, it is welfare and income redistribution.
No income taxes perhaps, but they are paying federal excise taxes on gas and such.
The Acorn thing isnt that big of a deal, because "Mickey Mouse" is not actually going to show up to vote. Having your vote manipulated in some blackbox voting machine IS a big deal.

Technically the Roomba falls into this category.. Not with dust and dirt, but it does seek out its base station when it gets hungry for its EMF food
