In my case, I no longer buy stuff from itunes / any other online stores - put it on the devices to listen, I listen to the radio, it keeps me upto date and no fuss...
I have a good audio system at home for which is no longer used because of mp3s - the way we listen to music has changed - and it will change more in future...
Its only symbolic representation of the thing its like a language people have developed from relevant objects and people have learnt and got used to. I wonder what he would comment about the hieroglyphics??
Gnome looks a bit more professional with the menu structures, icons and nautilus. With KDE it feels as though you have to do a lot more to get the same operations done. Couple of things I find annoying are the space utilization on the windows, they should try to maximize the window area and not shrink it with big icons and fonts, next... the file browser is not as good as nautilus.
Personally I did not like the previous design much, it was bulkier and slower than its predecessor... The new design looks nimble and uncluttered. Good stuff indeed.
Spot on. I am aligned to this view point, OS pool seems to be full and they all do the same things, no innovation coming out from there means its a solved problem. Thus there will be less people attracted towards it trying to create a problem and then try to solve it. I also think the current study curriculum has hit a wall, until they have open ends there would be no new stuff in OSs.
Getting iPhone is geeky? I think not, it means you are a gadget freak.
Now if you compile the iPhone kernel on the iPhone and use it boasting that its much faster than your regular kernels, that definitely qualifies you as a geek.
China clay?
KDE needs better fonts to effectively utilise space...

Speaking language is the programming language of our brains, that is what complex logic and reasoning is built upon.
Thats a great presentation video. If it can deliver what it shows in the video, its really good.
So, there will be a fight for becoming taller and broader, space on land will become so important that you have to almost root yourself there?
Flintstones did it in the stone age
Next would be stage acting, which is almost life-like.. Or maybe holographic projected stage acting done by 3D models
I should be patenting these ideas :-)

Well, it'll certainly cut down the raw material cost eh?
I am not upgrading Ubuntu from 10.04 anymore, I am a gentooer henceforth, its getting too bureaucratic.

It is a real surprise they are going to merge chrome and android. /Sarcasm
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats. - Howard Aiken

Fine if you want to say your logical side is not left, but its mostly because your right side says so ... ;)
