    So if I spent $100,000 with CCP to buy... whatever amount of PLEX that is, how much ISK would I have?

    What's to stop me from just going into EVE with that value of ISK (seriously, I'm curious--what would that be about for market value?) and just dominating the world fiscally? If I was insane and had money to burn I could buy my own Galactic Empire, right?

    You're right. If you want it to be user-friendly like Windows you have to put the gobbledygook in a little gray window with buttons that don't respond when you click them. Also, make the gobbledygook as uniform as possible, so that nobody can ever tell the cause of the error. That should do quite nicely!

    And label the buttons "Abort" and "Fail" so that nobody will know which button to press

    Roger Ebert seems to have bound himself deeply to his personal definition of what art should be and is desperately grasping at straws to try and convince others that he is right.     The model is 586, but that's not the cpu in the beast. I know it's asking a lot but how about RTFA? Or even taking note of the date - late 80s. And when was the Pentium cpu (aka 586) first manufactured? 1993. Turn in your geek card fool!

    .... I probably wouldn't have kept paying to play because you can't stop or your character is gone... No replay value in other words.

    You can suspend your account at no cost and come back when you have time to play, I did so for 7 months and my character, ships and gear were right where I left them when I returned.

    Search for PLEX in the market. It really is that simple. Expect to pay about 320M ISK for 30 day PLEX if you want to buy immediately

    The way EVE works is that you can trade ISK only for game time and not the other way around.

    Not any more... You can now legitimately buy PLEX (pilot license extension aka 30 day time card) from the eveonline site, and sell it for ISK ingame i.e. RL money to game time to ISK. And you can do the opposite, if you have a lot of in game currency you can purchase PLEX with ISK, avoiding the use of RL money for that purpose.

    Switches on electrical outlets are more widespread than just the UK. We also use switched outlets in Australia and New Zealand. OTOH having fuses in the plug is a clever idea I haven't seen anywhere except UK plugs.
