I respect you for asking these good questions. I have not designed this to a point it's ready for production. I decided it was important enough to Americans that we get off of fossil fuel engines that I went ahead and placed the majority of the answers I had so far out onto the Internet so others could help... instead of just me, myself, and Irene doing it. The return of the compression pistons should not be a very difficult part of this to accomplish. The compressors only press one-way, which is sending compressed air back to the engine. There isn't any return pressure to overcome. Best I can tell, the air under pressure would exit the compressors past a one-way valve, much like the valves in our veins that prevents blood from flowing back into our feet. I apologize that I don't have the engineering background to convey these ideas using engineering terms & phrases. When I took my information Public I was hoping a number of people would jump in and help me build it, but for right now it seems I have offended a lot of people rather than the desired effect. I realize that I have bridged a wide gap that others thought could never be bridged... Some people find it very upsetting to find out what I've done. Personally, I find crude oil at $60.00 a barrel more upsetting. I find being an appendage to OPEC upsetting. I find pollution and children having cancers that a few generations ago didn't, upsetting. I'm not too happy about nitric acids and global warming or 12 million gallons flooding from the Exxon Valdez in 1989. Specifics remain to be worked out & I'm not qualified to do that. I don't have the extensive training nor the software nor the facilities to build prototypes. That's why I've done my best to awaken Detroit and the scientific community via SlashDot. You mean by that to expand back after being compressed? Well, right offhand I would say a release valve or to would be required... That would be one answer. What? Was that your best reply? Actually I quit the meds several years ago. They induced Parkinson's tremors and Alzheimer-like memory blackouts. In other words, translated just in case you don't know, the meds were causing soft tissue damage to my brain. That's why the neurological damage was becoming more pronounced. It took about 8 months off the meds for the brain cells to either repair or be replaced. At the 6 month mark, and with my son's help, we filed 3 Provisional Patents for some of my other inventions. One of them was used by another inventor to make 4 new inventions. One is a plane that glides through the atmosphere much like a porpoise, using air pressure properties with Helium tanks. Since I could not locate a lawyer to take the case, he's off the hook legally by now. The meds you say I need? One day I was just standing in the hallway for a second and my left shoulder "drew back up" into the shoulder socket. It had been partially slipped out like that for who knows how long and I didn't notice because the MEDS were making me feel like EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. It is regrettable that your best argument had to be so incredibly wrong and quite lame, but unless you yourself had lived through this drug-induced brain damages as I have, you would not have a clue now would you? So, now you know. Meantime, I must repeat to those who will listen that I do in fact have a rather simple -yet complex- little engine that's extremely lightweight & efficient, that produces a counter-gravitational upward force. It is a unique combination of a number of my inventions that I've had over the last 16 or so years. I could build a part of it but lack the facilities and frankly the knowledge to build the remaining part. Anyone who brushes me off with the flick of the "meds" word is very foolish. Just because my situation is what it is isn't a very good argument. Genius strikes wherever it damn well pleases. It might happen to a janitor or it might happen to an Einstein. You cannot order random genius to produce inventions inside a lab if they require conditions outside the lab. And that's what my life has been. A laboratory experiment. And, I might add, an unduplicatable laboratory experiment. The Law won't allow you to put a human being through the series of life events I have lived through that has brought me to this point, and to this engine. If you ever decide to get around to wanting to find out some of the things I've lived through to get here alive, there's pages on my website where I took the time to chronicle the multiple concussions,the drowning when I was 12YO (oxygen starvation), and the 1989 accident where a 1,000 lb. bale of freight dropped 8 feet from the top of my trailer and landed across my back, traveled down my legs, pile-drived my knees into the asphalt and crushed my foot up to the shinbone. In July of 2003 I found out about an engine that did NOT USE GASOLINE. It was first made to run in a Ford Pinto around 1980. The inventor is a world-renowned scientist Dr. Harold Boese. You can find out about him in any encyclopedia. Yes, he was JUST THAT SMART. Scientist Number 2 -who built a similar engine to Boese'- was an aerospace/aeronautical engineer and later professor at the University of Washington: Dr. Abraham Hertzberg helped construct the Space Shuttle program. To my knowledge, both of these geniuses presented their discoveries freely long before anyone came up with such a new phrase as "Open Source". The reason we aren't using their compressed air engines right now in America, and the reason our illness rates from the combustion engine continue, and global warming, and destruction of species who can't breathe and procreate in this poison soup, is because they made a mistake. Compressed air ALONE cannot generate enough power by itself to challenge and dethrone gasoline or diesel. Alone it can't even compete with battery power! These world respected scientists made a MISTAKE. Compressed air is slow. Oh, it has gobs of power but the power releases to slowly, resulting in a MASSIVE POWER LOSS. The compressed air, therefor, needed a CATALYST... something that would quicker the releasing power. Dr. Hertzberg passed away several months before I found his engine online. So I don't have his voice to back me up on the solution I discovered, that injecting a shot of steam prior to a shot of cold compressed air or nitrogen is the catalyst that was needed. THE CHEAP, EASILY-PRODUCED CATALYST: water; makes the heretofire castrated engine into a powerhouse, a dynamo, that can develop clean power for our vehicles... and LOTS OF IT. I've written the explanations online and I made some rudimentary drawings that can't compete with Ford's VIDEOS, but I've noticed recently that Ford seems to be going bankrupt toward their employee's pension funds. Later in 2003 I figured out to where new cars could swap out their shock absorbers & springs for compressors that re-compress the air "on-the-fly". That's right, JUST PLAIN OLD AIR, not nitrogen. It does NOT HAVE TO BE SEPARATED, AND IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SERVED UP VIA A HOSE AT A SERVICE STATION. Sorry for all the Caps but some people seem to be hard of hearing on this matter. This new engine with the system I have shown is the replacement we need to stop using gasoline, batteries, radiators (it cools itself, temperature-balanced"), diesel fuel. The car doesn't need a heavy cooling system, heavy batteries, and the darn thing should just about run circles around present engines. WHY?! Well, think about it. The reason present combustion engines go bad is from the damn excessive HEAT, which this engine does not have. As I have stated on my website and in many posts like this one, since I was the one to figure out this system, I have open sourced it. I have given it to anyone or any company who wishes to build and market. In doing that I may have killed the prospects of the BEST ENGINE MANKIND HAS EVER HAD, an engine that quite literally runs on water & air... the 2 most abundant fluids this planet has. This engine doesn't burn it, so we essentially NEVER RUN OUT OF FUEL. And very importantly, we do start running out of airborne carcinogenic by-products from crude oil fossil engines. In Space, people could have as many children as they want for a very long time SO LONG AS they can produce enough new spacecraft for them to exit the nest.. It isn't just the atmosphere in the way of telescopes. The heavy pollution molecules displace oxygen in the lower altitudes where many of us live. We're a whole lot closer than you think. I've already figured out how to program AI. But who th hell would buy an idea? or, would they offer me more than $500.00 ?
