Slashdotted, already.
Looks like that server is already a smoldering pile of silicon...
Here's the CORAL link, which as of this writing, isn't working, yet... but in my experience, it usually does start working before the full Slashdot wave subsides.

Coral cache for Ken's site
It appears that we've Slashdotted popehat.com. After a number of tries I managed to get the page into the Coral cache. You'll still have to wait for the browser to timeout on its attempts to load images from the source.

Re:Dictatorships
No, and no "thanks for playing", either. There are no clear lines in a dictatorship, it's whatever The Authorities feel like doing, and while you know that some things are definitely forbidden, like criticizing the dictator, you can never trust that anything else you do is safe.
Dictatorships have almost all the bad parts of monarchies*, with newer technology, and the leaders don't even have the excuse that some strange woman lying in a pond handed them a sword or that a Divine Being appointed them, so they have to make sure that the population stays afraid to mess with them. Ever.
By the way, if you want to read an astoundingly good article on Machiavelli, it starts here, at Ex Urbe's blog.
* Most dictatorships don't have hereditary succession, so the dictator is usually somebody who was competent and/or vicious enough to rise to the top, as opposed to being some random idiot who was lucky or unlucky enough to be the kid of the previous king. (North Korea excepted, along with many years of the Roman Empire..) On the other hand, this means that they know they're only in power as long as they suppress or coopt anybody else who's competent and vicious enough to displace them, so they never get to relax unless they can abscond with a lot of cash and move to the South of France.

Re:Already Slashdotted
Coral is very slow for his site but not sure if it's loading anything except the title. It's not timing out yet, we'll see.

The feds could have transferred his BTC to another wallet. Your backups are of no use when the blockchain insists that those Bitcoins don't belong to you anymore. Correct me if my understanding of Bitcoin is wrong, please.
As for the hacking charge, I'm not sure - but you can read the court docs here - http://www1.icsi.berkeley.edu.nyud.net/~nweaver/UlbrichtCriminalComplaint.pdf. I still need to go through this myself so I won't comment on why there is a hacking charge.

Re:That was a fast slashdotting
That was a fast slashdotting. Running on DSL? Isn't there a way for Slashdot to test these sites first?
Or, maybe Slashdot can post the CoralCDN link for the article instead of (or alongside) the regular link?
I know, there are plug-ins, GreaseMonkey and other ways of doing it, but on the user side.

Couldn't get Coralcache to work?
The standard Coralcache link for the main article would be http://linuxgizmos.com.nyud.net/tiny-cortex-a9-module-runs-linux-and-android/, but it chokes when I try to use it.
The Variscite.com Product Link worked just fine for me, but in case it goes away, http://www.variscite.com.nyud.net/products/system-on-module-som/cortex-a9/dart-4460-cpu-ti-omap-4-omap4460 worked fine also. I couldn't find the price, though.

Re:XBMC Possibilities
Would OpenELEC enable hardware video decoding? The summary says it's not supported, and without that it'll be pretty useless for video replay. Software decoding is too jittery.
That's being worked on. There is a thread on XBMC's forums with the various attempts to get these types of devices working. Some are closer to success than others. Last I heard the Allwinner A10 SOC driver code were released but the developers wanted to make sure they had written legal permission to use them. (Previously the code had license restrictions on it so they are being careful.)
Since the Allwinner A10 SOC is so popular and so relatively inexpensive I expect that hardware acceleration will come sooner than you think.
I just wish that there would be some "smartbooks" made using this SOC and released with Linux (whether Ubuntu or some other system, just so long as it is open and not Android--although I wouldn't mind either dual booting or running Android co-currently to get access to those apps while still retaining Gnome 2.xx or MATE desktop) but a cheap XBMC pc would be great too! -
