Can't they start by replacing the MBAs with robots?
-
Re:Robot strippers.
Someone already built one, so it's not impossible.
Aside from all the less savory aspects of that particular piece of art, watch the way the hands move. The guy who built it nailed the movement of human hands better than any other robot I've seen. I wish artificial limb replacements could be made so realistic.

Capsule Spinning
I watched the full four-minute video, and was struck by how much the capsule was spinning and lurching beneath the parachutes. I imagined myself in the capsule and it didn't look like a lot of fun. I wonder if the stresses on the astronauts are worse during the return (pitch and yaw) than the launch (nearly vertical acceleration).
One example is 40-60 seconds into the video, but there are others: Video link

Racist JEWS speak for themselves
Khazar Talmudic Jews believe this of all they call goyim/gentiles (any non-jew): Jews = biggest racists of all for which they "jew guilt" you for no less! They're hypocrites known as thieves all thru history or were Argentines in the 1940 under Peron, Spanish inquistion, France (1306), Egypt (despoiled/robbed by jews), Arabs (pre & post 1948), England (1330 Edward longshanks), Romans under titus, Russia pogroms and Germany who got rid of them from their nations nazi german's too? No. Driven into DESERTS ages ago! Don't wonder why after all those exilings above.
Should anyone doubt any of this see Jacob Javits' crony Rosenthal spill the beans on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4zMVZ8HnFI/ where he called all Christianity fools for helping Israel and the biggest scam of all time per their beliefs below from their Talmud.
This is the province of the synagogue of Satan (Pharisees whom Jesus Christ himself kicked to the curb out of the temple & they killed him for it. Jeremiah did the same to them also + the Essenes could not stand them either breaking away from the pharisee corruption):
Jew Talmud excerpts (the book that calls Christ's mother a whore & a bastard of a roman soldier):
1. Sanhedrin 59a: "Murdering Goyim is like killing a wild animal."
2. Abodah Zara 26b: "Even the best of the Gentiles should be killed."
3. Sanhedrin 59a: "A goy (Gentile) who pries into The Law (Talmud) is guilty of death."
4. Yebhamoth 11b: "Sexual intercourse with a little girl is permitted if she is three years of age."
5. Schabouth Hag. 6d: "Jews may swear falsely by use of subterfuge wording."
6. Hilkkoth Akum X1: "Do not save Goyim in danger of death."
7. Hilkkoth Akum X1: "Show no mercy to the Goyim."
8. Choschen Hamm 388, 15: "If it can be proven that someone has given the money of Israelites to the Goyim, a way must be found after prudent consideration to wipe him off the face of the earth."
9. Choschen Hamm 266,1: "A Jew may keep anything he finds which belongs to the Akum (Gentile). For he who returns lost property (to Gentiles) sins against the Law by increasing the power of the transgressors of the Law. It is praiseworthy, however, to return lost property if it is done to honor the name of God, namely, if by so doing, Christians will praise the Jews and look upon them as honorable people."
10. Szaaloth-Utszabot, The Book of Jore Dia 17: "A Jew should and must make a false oath when the Goyim asks if our books contain anything against them."
11. Baba Necia 114, 6: "The Jews are human beings, but the nations of the world are not human beings but beasts."
12. Simeon Haddarsen, fol. 56-D: "When the Messiah comes every Jew will have 2800 slaves."
13. Nidrasch Talpioth, p. 225-L: "Jehovah created the non-Jew in human form so that the Jew would not have to be served by beasts. The non-Jew is consequently an animal in human form, and condemned to serve the Jew day and night."
14. Aboda Sarah 37a: "A Gentile girl who is three years old can be violated."
15. Gad. Shas. 2:2: "A Jew may violate but not marry a non-Jewish girl."
16. Tosefta. Aboda Zara B, 5: "If a goy kills a goy or a Jew, he is responsible; but if a Jew kills a goy, he is NOT responsible."
17. Schulchan Aruch, Choszen Hamiszpat 388: "It is permitted to kill a Jewish denunciator everywhere. It is permitted to kill him even before he denounces."
18. Schulchan Aruch, Choszen Hamiszpat 348: "All property of other nations belongs to the Jewish nation, which, consequently, is entitled to seize upon it without any scruples."
19. Tosefta, Abda Zara VIII, 5: "How to interpret the word 'robbery.' A goy is forbidden to steal, rob, or take women slaves, etc., from a goy or from a Jew. But a Jew is NOT forbidden to do all this to a goy."
20. Seph. Jp., 92, 1: "God has given the Jews power over the possessions and blood of all nations."
21. Schulchan Aruch, Choszen H

Bridge salesman
If you really though that promises within next year or so for "Tesla comming autonomously to pick you up, and letting you sleep while delivering you to your destination" is anything but marketing department's bulcrap, then you're really gullible.
There's a hint: that bridge isn't for sale neither.
You're probably also firmly believing that the cold gas thrusters on the upcoming new Roadster will enable Tesla to make an actually flying / hovering car, instead of simply being Tesla's spin and slight evolution of an anti-skid/stabilisation tech that has already been researched by BWM and Bosch for motorcycles.

Frame rate dependencies
An aspect that this report hasn't mentioned, perhaps as it's an unfortunate and unfair issue in some games, is sadly there can also be code issues at play as well. Many modern games have still suffered from damage dealt or game physics not being frame rate independent which can directly equate to player advantages, Quake 3 for example was well known for having the fastest movement and most useful jumping speed and height on 125 FPS, the issue was fixed many years ago in some mods and subsequently Quake Live by removing the physics system's dependency on frame rate.
A quick search on damage tied to fps brings up quite a few recent results, and I couldn't quickly find evidence that they had all been resolved -
Quake Champions : https://www.reddit.com/r/Quake... (Damage and movement FPS dependencies were fixed early in Early Access)
PUBG : https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/fra... (Quick search found no info on fixes)
Fortnite : https://www.eurogamer.net/arti... (Epic acknowledge the issue and state that they’re working toward a fix.)
Destiny 2 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?... (Quick search found no info on fixes)
Warframe: https://forums.warframe.com/to... (Staff posted at the time a fix was being looked into)Even including such bugs high FPS is not the be all and end all in a multiplayer shooting game as positioning, better weapons, collecting more health and armour are all strategic elements that usually claim the victory beyond simple aim and damage output. Higher frame rates certainly can aid locating your opponents position quickly and accurately in a high speed fire fight though and are certainly a much more pleasant visual experience, https://www.testufo.com/ can give you a quick example of that without having to leave your browser.

Re:Facebook uses one weird trick to solve hate
LOL! I found a way to make 50$ a month a log time ago!
I plan to be able to retired in 2020. I told you creimertards how to do it but no, you were to smart to listen; I find AmazonTM the gretest thing since sliced bread and helps taking care of my health at retirement with the Amazon long tail revenue streams!
All you need to do is find a website with a permissive TOS, say, Slashdot, create a Python script to scrape your own comments, sprinkle Amazon affiliate links in various posts, and then re-post past links whenever possible. You can even make video of yourself going to pick up AmazonTM parcel at the convenience store and post it on your youtube channel for more redundant revenue streams.
They also have a wide supply, the best of lattes, clif/power bars and microwave popcorn at the best cost, espicially if you make a friend buy them for you with your own affiliate link!
Also, I still use my iPhone 6s and reduce my monthly bill from $80 to $50. As a phone and a video camera, the iPhone 6s isn't obsolete and I use it to make my videos on youtube. As a Sprint very special customer for 20+ years, Sprint will always give me a new iPhone for free if I decide to stop using the 6s as a phone in the next several years.
UPDATE: Santa brough me a Panasonic HC-V180K camcorder for Christmas to replace my iPhone 6s for recording #YouTube videos.I use PhotoShop daily!
I have a hearing loss in one ear, so my audio will always be suspect. I use a Zoom H2 audio recorder with a pop filter 12" away from my mouth, Audacity to clean up and normalize the audio, and sync the audio to the video and apply a "voice enhancement" eq to the audio in the video editor.
My PC has an eight-core processor and a Nvidia 1050 Ti 4GB video card. A minute of 1080p video renedered on the processor takes a minute. A minute of 1080p video renedered on the Nvidia card takes 10 seconds. I don't think an iPad has the same performance of my PC for renedering videos longer than a short clip.
I can't imagine using Photoshop without a keyboard and mouse, or not being able to access my files from my file server. Video renedering on the iPad will probably suck donkey balls.
Blackmagic also charges high prices for their gear as Apple does. Need an HDMI to USB3 capture device? Blackmagic is $300. Any generic company is $50.
I take public transit. A local bus take me down the street to pick up the express bus, the express bus drops me off in Palo Alto, and a local bus take me down the street to my job. An hour each way. Driving through Palo Alto during rush hour is insane. Since I work in government I.T., I start work at 7:00AM.
For a final project in Small Group Communications, my four Vietnamese classmates appointed me to do all the work and be the speaker because I was white. So I did all the work and spoke in front of the class. Our instructor, a black woman, gave me all their credit for the assignment and forced them to retake the class. They screamed "white privilige" all the way to administration and their complaint landed on deaf ears. They couldn't prove that they did anything to merit a grade and cheerleading from the back of the room doesn't count.
The background file for my national security clearance got stolen by the Chinese a few years ago That contained a lot more information than the credit reports that Uncle Sam requested from all three bureaus.
Bonus: get some silver coins, view recommendations on my special Youtube channel dedicated to the topic! They constitute a fail-safe insurance strategy for your retirement!

Re:AI Murder Policy
Such rules always end up in some sort of unintended logic trap:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
When machines can think, feel empathy, and express altruism, then perhaps we can discuss the real intent of such a law-based approach to controlling machines: enforced morality.
Until then, don't expect the machines built by humans hell-bent on killing other humans to be any more moral than the killer humans. Any set of rules or logic can and will be twisted into something unexpected.

Is Facebook legal in the restrictive countries?
What about drones?
How about photos from a music festival (and/or recording of the band)?
I am seriously impressed by the serious handling of privacy, I didn't realize it was that hard core. In the US we have no privacy and all of our info is just for sale (or stolen with no repercussions, Equifax).
But, I can do stuff like this (illegal in Switzerland apparently, but I didn't realize how nice the drive was until I was driving so my intent was just recording, including the very close deer on road miss, 0:54 seconds in, original song):

Re:Anyone have text of the actual study?
I looked at the actual article, and the article it references - and they're all short tabloid blabs without any link to the full article.
Nothing obvious showing up on Georgia Institute of Technology's websites.
Like with most reports on early reporting on scientific studies, it helps to see what the actual text says - reporters have a tendency to, well, sensationalize findings to meet their own needs.

I believe the reporters are trying to cite the study from Veridian Dynamics (2009):

Re:France's Minitel is for sale
The rest of the world is catching onto cyber warfare and expanding their military forces here.
Russia has been depicted as a major flinger of shit on the internet for a while now. And since every human with half a brain can see the suspicious amount of tu quoque nonsense whenever Russia is mentioned in a non flattering way on the internet makes them look rather suspicious, it's not that far off that the Kremlin is actually invested into this.
For example recently I've seen one of my favourite science and engineering with slow motion youtubers having content that promotes US military (and allies) interests and having a 4 star US general implying Russia as a hostile cyber warfare force on the internet to the huge audience that channel has. They even talk about the very video they are in being considered to be a "weapon" itself.
If true, Putin ought to know very well what kind of effect their own methods may have on his own society, whose trust in him is apparently at the lowest point ever, when the table finally turns on them. Imagine if NATO and other US allies combined their cyber efforts and start to fling shit back on a massive scale. Having the option to shut your constituents out from this, while your state actors can still do whatever they want seems like a rational choice.
Of course it won't be 100% effective, like we can see with examples like China or North Korea. Information will find a way to get through by smuggling USB drives and similar things even in NK. But it does make things a lot more nasty for the regular citizen. -
