there are some games that just look awesome (and apparently are) but I cannot get pass that stupid thumbstick. Its like sliding a dime across the kitchen counter, it just irks me using it. Hopefully the redesigned system (or psp2) will fix this.
in this current economic situation, when people don't want to spend a ton of money on anything. And they are looking for entertainment and don't want to invest in an entertainment center, they will go with the Wii, like they have been for 2 years now. It is in direct competition with the PS3. Nobody but highend audio and video freaks care about Blu-ray, when people look at buying the PS3 as compared to the other system its based upon games and whom they can play those games with. Thats why the 360 is destroying it and thats why the Wii is destroying both of them.
Denying the wii is in competition with them is just a way for someone to feel better about their purchase. I know many people that wanted a PS3 but didn't want to pay that much and went with a Wii instead, or a Wii-360 combo.
in other words you have never played a single resident evil because they have all had control schemes that restricted movement and shooting. Resident Evil 4 has almost similar controls and that was still one of the best games last generation and undoubtedly in the top 20 of all time. The controls work perfectly fine, you just have to learn how to play in their environment.
actually Valve has stated that they will unlock all the games you have downloaded from their DRM scheme if Steam is ever to be shut down. So really, you could continue playing TF2 or maybe 3 by that point.
Are there not a ton of continuous bandwith applications that are not p2p and completely legal and used heavily by many people? I mean come on AT&T, at least make the excuse believable. The people you are cutting off are smarter than that and will take you to court over it, I can already see the EFF jumping down your throat. Good luck with this!
Screw Metallica. Not only do they suck as artists/musicians and people. I would never support someone who tries to destroy a new system and denounce it only to turn around and want to milk it.
Between my roommate and I we each returned a 360 to get fixed from the Red Ring of Death, both work perfectly fine now, never had an issue from it. still loud as fuck though
Does anyone else notice that this article makes it seem as though the Playstion was the first console with a thumbstick, when in fact it was the N64. Sony redid their controller after seeing how popular it was. Which seems vaguely familiar.... dual shock 3???
I was 3 when I first started playing, it was Rad Racer, World Class Track Meet and Mario. Then it was jeopardy and wheel of fortune. Reader Rabbit, Mario Teaches Typing...
Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros./World Class Track Meet Bundle as well as Rad Racer in all its "3D" glory. A few months later I got Wheel of Fortune and Operation Neptune for my IBM, mmmm DOS games.
