    It's not the same set of circumstances.

    Apple isn't a monopoly and it has not abused a monopoly position, no where near the same market share as microsoft

    The choice people have now regarding browsers could be argued is a result of this litigation by the EU. A good over view is here

    Those companies would make the same request where ever the app was hosted, wether it Google Play or any other app store.

    The same thing could happen to software on an Android device. If this was available on Android the same companies that have had it pulled from the app store would have had it pulled form Google Play.

    This has nothing to do with iOS except that it happens to have been an iOS app and not an Android one

    I should point out that the 'Naval' tanks were eventually included in the treaty. That wasn't clear from my post

    During similar talks over conventional weapons, a certain number of Russian Army Tanks were transferred to the Russian Navy, thus making them exempt from the treaty.

    It's possible to generate an EMP without nuclear detonation using an 'explosively pumped flux compression generator'. It's range is limited compared that of an nuclear generated EMP.

    "Despite repeated enquiries, Nokia has failed to provide any confirmation or denial of the Financial Times's report (behind paywall) that Nokia – concerned that Apple is poised to grab the lion's share of patent revenue – has proposed an alternative design to the proposed nano-SIM technology to standards body ETSI.

    It's an interesting idea, though hard to credit as there's no trace of such a filing at ETSI"

    From the report regarding indentured migrant labor...

    "As a result of our expanded audits in 2011, suppliers reimbursed $3.3 million in excess foreign contract worker fees, bringing to $6.7 million the total that has been repaid to workers since 2008."

    I must've been paranoid for years

    I've had a gmail account since at least 2005 and went to the link in TFA and discovered that I had never turned Web History on in the first place. Happy days. All I gotta do now is log out of gmail on March 1 and jobs done.
