Even if a class action suit is filed and they are found guilty or w/e ill receive a coupon in the mail for something i didnt want and have to pay real money to get anyways. Thanks alot Sony. I dont use my Linux on my PS3 whole lot, but i didnt give up 10 GB of precious HDD space for nothing.
After the joke of a PSP game, im quite happy with just keeping my GT5 prologue and saying screw the final release. Prologue works well enough with my steering wheel and i dont buy GT games to rally race or F1 and i certainly dont need 700 cars. The insane delays dont help either. The fact that i already have a steering wheel from the PS3 system is the only thing stopping me switching to Forza and the MS wheel.
It is human arrogance and ignorance that lead us to these 'answers'. Do we have to have a figurehead to speak for all of us? What if the aliens want to talk to the 'everyman'. It is a human concept that we need an alpha to speak for all of us, and folly imho.
Now that they (the consoles) have established a beachhead with digital printing presses (online digital media stores) the need for new hardware becomes less and less. We arent going to see a truly new console for at least 5 more years. Even then its going to be an iteration with full backwards compatibility, rather then full out innovation and all new hardware/software
Simply put, the software they have now is good enough to make A LOT of money so there is no pressure for new hardware.
The problem is confidence. I have a PC version of Bioshock i bought day one. Is it still encumbered by 5 install limit? How would i know unless i went and did research on a game i bought 3 years ago. Thats just retarded.
Why? There is nothing inherently evil about spoofing caller ID. Existing laws already cover fraud, etc. If i want to present you with a fake number, Ishould be able to.
Again, im ponying up money to play something i already paid for. This is not an equitable solution. I didnt love Halo 3 enough to pay more money for it.
It is integral now. Halo 3 multiplayer is a joke unless you continuously pony up money for new maps. Right now they are still selling $30 worth of maps for it.
Alot of wii systems out there, but not alot being used in the same way 360s and PS3s are. Both the HD consoles are digital advertising platforms. The Wii's online offerings are really sad in comparison. They sell pretty much only games and most of it is 20 year old NES stuff. Wiiware is ok, but not enough of it and its mostly meh quality. Alot of Wii consoles out there, but very few making long tail money for Nintendo
Its a no skill job. you sit, you drive, you talk. Hard to throw your weight around when we are one good innovation away from removing the need for a human to do it. Someday in the not too distant future we are going to wake up and hail a Johnny Cab, (Total Recall). Ive been thinking about this for a while, how far are we realistically away from driveless cars on (mostly)* unmodified roads? How hard is it to automate driving a car on a known circuit (city grid).
*Allowing for sensor installations and machine instruction signage, failsafes, etc.
I like Kyle, but in recent years hes gotten a big head and he often doesnt think completely clearly. Plus all the ads on the site made me stop going to it years ago. I stopped going when they started using keyword advertising in articles. Why yes Kyle i would love to be sold X brand video card while reading in the middle of this article, thank you!
The market for Linux gaming is so small as to be laughable. I love the idea of open source, but please remain grounded in reality. In short, demanding linux games will only increase game costs to serve a very tiny market.
There are errors in your post. First of all when you download a movie from PSN,you have 2 WEEKS to first watch it. After you first push play, you have up to 24 hours to watch it again before it expires.
The rampant chipless/modless piracy didnt help either.

HE was alright in Swordfish. Being that im in I.T., I would almost certainly label that movie as SciFi
What do you think the Ipad is?

Steam on MAC is going to be very big.

Mechwarrior was one. I'll never forget putting that on a fast machine and watching the game speed get insanely fast.
Are SSD's submersible?

Yep, you are right. It was Tabula Rasa that was his steaming pile of shit.
I dont care what he did in the long past, his most recent work was Hellgate London, which was beyond terrible.

In most areas its a MONOPOLY service, hence the intense scrutiny.
Dont justify their intentional obfuscation

To expand on this, you also have a chance to get 'of the year' editions which usually wil include all the DLC packages to date.
