    From the article:

Hewlett-Packard is working on a similar effort with Swatch . In trials in Switzerland, wearers can pass through a train station turnstile while the watch charges their bank accounts for the cost of the ticket.

Hmm... does that mean I can walk through a train station while some 31337 h4x0r charges me for the cost of the train station?

Hey, the British note system makes much more sense than the US one. Our notes are different sizes which makes it very easy to tell them apart. And no "stupity" certainly isn't the word you were looking for! (And yes I do know you weren't really insulting British people)

FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!! Just because a small group of people from one particular religion/ethnic group have performed what is admittedly probably the world's worst act of terrorism, it doesn't mean stupid fuckers like you should start hurling racist abuse at their whole culture!
It is exactly people like you who are causing the problems we face in the world today. Most Afghans/Arabs/etc would never condone what happened, but if people like you mistrust all of them just because some of them are evil, the problems will just get worse.

Easy, if there's at least 3x more code in there than there needs to be, you must have used FrontPage (that, or been really bored)

This certainly isn't happening where I am working (but am leaving tomorrow, whee!!). Our boss recently committed to sticking with Microsoft products for everything (makes me wonder what is going to happen to all the Oracle DBs...). And the 'web' application I have been working on looks like it is going to be essentially one huge ActiveX control in a web page (hmm...).

We also seem to have an inordinate number of systems based on forms done in Word, I had the misfortune of taking one over from someone when I joined, and it is one fscker of a system I can tell you. Unfortunately having not done much programming before (this being my pre Uni gap year), I wasn't in a position to do much about it.

Yes, working exclusively with Microsoft products for a whole year has taught me one thing: *nix is great!

Who says that simply recording any thoughts/data/code isn't automatically encrypting it, I mean, some decoding has to take place in your brain. Written down English doesn't inherently mean anything, you have to realise that it is English and then translate it into thoughts to be able to understand it. It counts for any programming language as well.

You can simply say: "Surely you didn't actually read and understand the code did you?"
