Hey, I don't know what you're trying to get across, but it'd be so much easier if everyone just converted to CRUX. Now THAT'S a distro! Not some crappy cartoon.:)
WHY HOLD IT DOWN WHEN YOU CAN TAPE IT DOWN?!?!!?!?
Filter error: Don't use so many caps. It's like YELLING.
so I'll just add some non caps to bypass the filter. la la la la la ilovecheeseitssogoodialsolikestrawberries
P.S. if tape doesn't work, you can always use a two part epoxy.
I've been using zone edit for about 8 years, and I've never had any issue with them. In fact, I had forgotten my password, and the original email I was using with them was an email I stopped using years ago, but I was still able to get my account information easily. I've never once been hassled by them about anything, and other than the fact that you do need some knowledge of what an IP is, and what to do with DNS server information, there's really nothing better.
Same disclosure, just a happy customer.
Dolphin is a bit clunky in KDE, but if you open it in GNOME is seems to run fine. I've tried F-Spot, but I found it a bit awkward and slow when processing 8+ gigs of pictures. Perhaps I'll fool around with DigiKam a little bit. I'm a gnome fanboy, so I haven't really tried much of the K stuff since.. Slackware 8 or 9.
As for the woman thing, I'm particularly speaking of the one that rules my roost, not in general. I suppose I was a bit vague;)
Her default email application is Thunderbird, and it seems Thunderbird uses a simplified file manager to open documents. I know Nautilus works well for thumbnails (I'm actually really liking dolphin for that right now), but I can't figure out how to resize the pictures to send. Each picture is almost 2mb, so sending 20 odd pictures just doesn't work.
Gimp is fast, and it's pretty easy to create a script to automatically make resized copies, but of course, that's silly, and has too many steps.
Also, you have to realize I'm talking about a WOMAN here. There's no logic in this.
Perhaps I'll figure out a way to write some kind of bash script or something that she can drag/drop pictures to it, then it'll open a new message with the pictures already attached. Women.
With converting my fiancee, is that when she emails pictures, she doesn't have the option of 'thumbnail view' in gnome, as well as the option to pick multiple pictures and being able to right click them and email them as resized copies.
This sounds trivial, but because of this, she is vehemently opposed to adopting Linux in general. I find it's all in the details for most people. It may seem like a 'Windows' thing, but really, it's a matter of simplicity, which she values.
And so I'm not off topic here, she IS a power windows user.
I'm a Winnipeger, and MTS is a garbage company. I don't own a single piece of their merchandise for reasons such as this. They are supposed to call you (from experience) if you have excessive long distance, but since MTS was sold years ago, things like this happen all the time.
In '98 there was a kid stuck with 20k in long distance charges to the US because he registered with a dial-up provider and picked 'nearest location', and not checking the outgoing number. Stupid, I know, but when you know nothing of computers, this kind of thing can happen.
Is that our world is nothing more than a quark in another world, and that world is nothing more than a quark in another world. The perceived end of our universe is nothing more than a shell, with another universe beside it, and trillions more beside each other. By my calculations, we're part of a toenail on some other sentient being. We're probably going to be clipped off soon, but I'm sure we'll never know.
My parents decided to pawn me off to an Intellevision, the first game ever was Tron Deadly Discs and Nightstalker. I remember seeing pong and other arcade games, and being in awe that I could play them free at home!
Canadians will shrug it off, saying they don't have the time to bother, and Americans will sue, stating emotional distress (or something). Europeans will continue to use any other email host, and us nerds will carry on hosting our own email servers, continuing to laugh at people using Microshaft products.
Next thing you know, they'll want a percentage of the air we breathe and for us to 'stitch up' the ozone layer.
I live in Manitoba, anyone here with a treaty card pays NO taxes and goes to school for free. Not to mention the miles of land and the resources the government pays for them to be sustainable. Enough is enough.
Would be to come up with a version where you're Gannon and you have to kidnap Zelda. Wait, is Gannon still around? Even better, you could actually be Zelda and save Link. Wait, is it still link? Man, I haven't played Zelda since A Link To The Past. Now THAT was a good game. I tried Orcana of Time, but I just couldn't get into it.
Maybe they should come up with a game where Mario and Link join forces because Koopa and Gannon joined forces and captured both princess'. That would probably be the second most amazing game ever. Jeopardy Jr. for the NES still reigns supreme for this hard-core gamer.
There's a couple sites in which you can do this already, here's one. Unfortunately it's not GNU nor does it run linux, but I'm sure with a couple of quick mods, not only will it do 13 on the 1/4 mile, but it'll be able to complile a fresh kernel in the same time!
I have a friend that complains that I'm still dual booting, and says 'Why don't you just use linux full time?'. Well, I would if the tools I much prefer worked using Crossover. I'm not all for Windows OR Linux, I like them both for the applications they provide. I'll record all of my audio and author dvd's in Windows, but I'll continue to serve webpages, surf the web, play games and feel safe with Linux.
Maybe I'm one of the few, but I like XP, Linux and OSX equally the same. It's the software in the perspective OS that I enjoy, the OS itself is just the springboard for my work.

Haha, reminds me of the skit in the Simpsons movie, 'sop, yeld and one vay'. Don't know why. Very Mel Brooks-eque.

Also reminds me of a movie from the 90's. Hopefully, THESE dreams won't be addictive! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Until_the_End_of_the_World
I think it's Apple themselves. It's the only logical conclusion. My second guess would be the Woz.
Come on, he's close enough. Let the man have his medal!
My thoughts exactly. Except he didn't mention anything about toenails.

I wonder when we're going to hear about the alien that escaped?! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433883/
Are they running KDE 3? I thought they were using top of the line software!! We're all going to die!!!!!!

So, can you buy an upgrade yet?

Has this not been posted before?! It sounds so familiar.
