I remember my first joystick I got, a Gravis 3 button job. It came with Commander Keen 4. I played that thing for hours, and that joystick was awesome, but I soon realized, the only place for a joystick was flight sims.... I even tried using the joystick again for look in Half-Life for the heck of it, that went horribly....
Exactly, if they can't get you to use their service, they still want to get that money out of you. I'm not gonna pay an extra $10 to watch the movie on their ppv, but I just paid them an extra $10 anyways cause I used more bandwidth using a 3rd party service. Correct me if I'm wrong, but something doesn't seem right with that.....
I have a hard time believing the economy will keep going into the toilet... We had a huge boom of growth, now we have to have the down-turn. Growth will come again. You can't have one without the other. As far as the "space race" goes, it's utterly pointless, we need to sort out our priorities....
If you want a phone just to be a phone, you haven't used a Motorola for a while have you.... The V3c I have has been the best phone I've ever used. The voice recognition blows Nokia out of the water, I have to press one button, say a name and it dials. I've only had it screw up once. On top of that, I don't have to assign it tags or anything, out of the box I have that ability. Contacts are easy to navigate and add.

I don't know what verticals you work with in POS. But for us and the hospitality industry, it's been a PITA for compliance and pre-authing tip amounts. It seems like restaurant owners are freaking at the fact they can't pre-auth over 20% on the invoice to guarantee some form of tip...
That's a very good point. You also have to look at what resources are used to produce that sugar, most of which as in fact fossil fuels. It's a nice little vicious cycle, we need to use resources to produce other resources. The only advantage of agriculture based resources is they are "renewable" and it creates job for people in the US if they want it... But, it takes a lot of land, which is something we're coming up short on....
I would assume it has a similar flavor to modern day birch bark tar, which is similar to birch beer or root beer... Kind of a wintergreen flavor, but not as minty, if that makes any sense at all.... Loggers commonly used to chew on the stuff, and in my case I tried some whilst in the woods.
I know we're polluting the hell out of this planet. And the studies, and data all point to *at least* a climate change. But it still seems damn strange that all of the sudden this is a huge issue. Let me play devil's advocate and grab my tin-foil hat.... Since the data is secretive, also the calculation behind all these conclusions, is it possible that this is all a rouse to "justify" a rise in oil costs? I mean hell, we never see anything like that...
Also, that aside, aren't we (collective people around the globe) and especially the US, polluting less than we used to? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
It's all because the ads accompanying the news articles aren't being viewed by everyone reading the article. Someone wants their money, nothing new here....
I can't believe that generations of people actually are believing stuff in the movies. It makes me think of the kids watching Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, and thinking all that crap would work.... Are you saying these kids never grew up? Are we that sheltered now? When the hell is in the water?
Depends on who lines the pockets of the developers I guess... Fundamentally, no, an OS should only perform the functions of being able to utilize your hardware to the fullest extent (anyway you want) in an efficient manner.
How could they make the start page better? They already use Google for the search aspect, and if you are currently using Google it *is* the start page for the internet and is customizable.
Anytime you put any kind of personal information on the web, pretty much anyone can see it. Hell, even Bob the hermit can have his identity stolen, and the poor guy hasn't even interacted with people in his life.

Deja-vu? Did you see a black cat walk by twice? Was it the same black cat?
Danger Will Robinson?
Since when did we think the terrorists were Iraqis... Great points on the FUD storm coming.
Excellent movie, with a more believable outcome of the Human race....

Hehehe, it's fine in Firefox.... I never thought I'd say that.....
I'm pretty sure that comes from a movie... I think something with Harrison Ford.

Yeah, why the hell would you put your own face on something cool? Any value that thing had is gone....

Depending on what changes are made, all of them....
Crap, I thought the interweb was IPX/SPX.

I still have ChexQuest, I think I got everything Doom related, or anything made using the Doom engine. ChexQuest was fun, there was also a sequel.

"Fewer" does seem more comedic.
Within the context, that sentence is correct... If he is implying that his firearm hasn't killed anyone, then the sentence doesn't make sense.
