    ...for me and my HT it's the best and only option. While everyone else bickers about this I'll be enjoying dozens and dozens of movies in 1080p with lossless audio while everyone is watching compressed video with DD over cable.

    In 5 years, when a better solution comes along, I'll have been satisfied in the meantime with BluRay.

    ...advertisement. I liked the Seinfeld ads and I like these even more. Despite owning a Mac for it's hardware (I have Vista on it) I've never been a fan of Apple's image and how they market themselves. It just so happened that I couldn't get 8 cores cheaper anywhere else.

    This ad really sums up the PC world for me...it's not just a trendy looking peripheral that you can tote around to various Starbucks to appear young and hip. Like Linux, it's used by a wide variety of individuals and professionals for an equally wide range of tasks...one of which is NOT looking hip and cool! ;)

    ...that Tim Sweeney is a god! Ever since I first saw a pic of unreal in the early 90's I've kept an eye on his career and his brilliance never ceases to amaze me.

    Another quality interview with him where he demonstrates unparalleled insight into graphics. He and Carmack should combine forces and produce the definitive game engine.

    Then give it to Valve and let them add their brilliant gameplay!

    Keep in mind that not everyone is SOLELY motivated by their wallets. Some of us want more fuel efficient cars to lessen our dependence on foreign oil.

    A 65mpg car is a nice step in that direction regardless of whether I have to pay 10 cents more per gallon. That turns out to be like $1.50 more.

    Why are their computers even accessible via the Internet during execution? They should disable any access to the Internet during execution and re-enable it when finished. It's hard to hack into a network that isn't even on the Internet to begin with.

    ...to FIOS from Comcast and have been thoroughly enjoying the 15mb download speeds. Pretty much everything I do now on the net is blazing fast whether it's downloading large video files or playing games. Plus there's bandwidth for TV as well since I use FIOS for that too.

    I couldn't be any happier.

    ..my launch day 360 finally succumbed to the Red Ring of Death so Spore and STALKER Clear Sky will fill the gaming void that my 360 has left behind while it gets replaced/repaired/refurbished.

    I'm not too concerned over the DRM. I'm not one of these black and white guys that is against it in principle. DRM has its use and I understand why companies like EA choose to use it. It doesn't cost me anything or inhibit me from playing so why should I care? I'm gonna buy this game based on the merits of its gameplay and from the sound of it the game is pretty unique.
