No, in 15 years he'll look at his non-working napster player & say "I wish I could listen to X's album", just like I now look at all my 15-20yo cassettes.
Of course *I* have the option of buying a cheapass boombox if I want.
Do you mean X w/ Exene & John Doe? That band rocks. I still get a kick out of seeing JD playing some bit part in a movie.
I stumbled across emusic.com while looking for a copy of an album I had on cassette (Neighborhood Texture Jam). Since then, I've found so much of my older cassette music it's unbelievable. I have my list of stuff I want to download maxed out.
I *was* sorry when they had to start limiting downloads, but I really wasn't suprised. 40 songs for $10 is still a good deal.
Yes they do. In fact, every woman over 25 who still has nice perky breasts has probably slept in a bra most of her life. I hate it when my gf sleeps in a bra, but 33yo Cs that stand up & say "howdy" makes it worth it.
My ex-wife never slept in bras, and now she's 27 with nasty, floppy Bs...
At my office, a pair of twins (male) got hired straight out of college. They were consistently 2-3 hours late and when they got there, they slept another 2-3 hours at their desk. They worked there almost 3 years before they were let go, and that was only because their project (with 2 other ppl) was scrapped.
My company writes a specific software app for the banking industry. There isn't a single programmer under 30, few (other than the boss) works more than 45 hours a week, and most have been there 5 years or more.
It's not all that interesting, but it's a decent job. Just don't expect the megabucks.
Hmm. I use MS products every day (and cleaning spyware is what's mostly paying the bills). Why *doesn't* MS just dump Windows & start fresh? Didn't they buy VirtualPC, couldn't they just add a (fairly) transparent VM to implement backwards compatibility?
It was my understanding that a lot of the problems the opensource "windows on linux" projects have is lack of access to the Windows source code, MS wouldn't have that problem.
There's a site that does something similar. I suck and don't have the url, but his name is Milt, and I think it's "things my girlfriend and I have fought about".
The beauty of PVRs is that you get to watch what you want, when you want. There *is* some decent stuff on tv (cable, at least), it's just never on when I happen to get time to watch tv. With my pvr, whenever I sit down to watch tv, I know I'll get to watch something I like.
They'll just subpoena (?) your computer until they can check it. How long did it take Steve Jackson Games to get their computers back? Of course, if you have *no* illegal media on your PC, I'm sure you won't mind if they borrow it for a few years...
...big coils under the car that do inductive coupled recharges while you wait at a stop light.
I won't pretend to know much about battery/electrical tech, and I'm certainly not a "Art Bell" kind of guy, but this scares the hell out me.
Hey! There *is* a preview button. I never noticed it before...
But man, he's got Zappa there, too. Can't be *all* bad :)
Of course, what other memphian would know shit about old music? :)
Did we work at fedex at the same time? I think I know who you are if we did...
Of course feel free to drop by cautioninc.com & say hi.

Have you gotten any money due to that sig?

So now we're listening to Johnny Rotten school us on the quality of music? What's next, GG giving us fashion pointers?
That's *exactly* what I was thinking...
CPU load. SCSI puts much less of a load on your CPU than (s)ata does.
SATA rocks, though.
My gf has the best boobs I've ever seen, *and* she's the 2nd smartest person I've ever met.
Chuck is smarter, but not nearly as attractive. Not to mention he's really freaking weird.

Not sure, I'm the network guy. I'd say the AC was about right, in the 40-50k range (not too bad for our low COL).

I had something similar happen, only it was a high-school crush.
AND (for post above) we've been together almost 3 years now.

smart-ass :)

Fun site

Go South Park!!!
You ought to use the euro symbol instead...
The Dead Milkmen rock!
What resolution do you play at? I have an XP2500+ w/ 512 & a Radeon 9200, and I could barely play HL:Source.
I like the Dead Kennedys tape that said basically the same thing on side 2, but added "We left this side blank to help"...
