Amazon, Itunes or someone trying to become a content provider should buy the series. That's where things are headed.

  2. Good for Japan on Iron Man 3 To Debut As a 4DX Film In Japan · · Score: 1

Here in the US I usually pick the standard 2D version of a movie vs 3D, even if the price is the same. At our local theater, Sunday-Thursday they do not charge extra for the 3D movies but even for no upcharge 3D seems like more trouble than it's worth. A 4D movie is something people may do once so they can say they tried it.

I agree. First don't use IE, any version. Use Firefox or Chrome and ad block and most of your problems will be solved. Use AVG free if you want extra protection, don't download pirated games and run keygen's or any exe file sent to you via email and your old unsupported XP box will stay virus free.

Some projects ask for way to much. Ive seen some bands say things like we need money for our new album, shirts & merch, put out the first single on 7", new bass amp and new tour van or trailer. Those project always fail, I want to buy the album, maybe a shirt at some time but not fund the bands entire existence. .

About a month after we got 2 new phones and I had to extend our contracts (yes they do still have them) I noticed a 9.99 premium feature charge on my bill. I asked what it was they said like a trivia challenge game or daily horoscope. I told them to remove it and they did and refunded the 9.99 (refunded via credit on a future bill). Never signed up for it, never texted any codes or responded to any unknown text messages.

Ive have a JXD S7100 (2.3, single core 7" with Dpads, stick and buttons) and a newer S7300 (4.1, dual core, analog stick, more buttons) and specs are pretty much inline with this tablet. Problem being very few games work with any hardware controls, they use sloppy and inaccurate virtual touch controls. The 7300 does have a remapping app built in, to use the hardware controls on a touch screen game, but only works on some games. Until the app makers spend a bit more effort and give options for hardware controllers, android gaming will not take off, besides fairly casual games.

First, it's from a place called softlawyer, I would laugh at them to begin with. Second, you are allowed to use names and small parts of copyrighted works and names under fair use for reviews. Third, this would mean all reviews, even good ones, need to be removed on this site, amazon, walmart and everywhere else. By morning go pro will be frantically responding saying this was an error, put the review back and we will even give this unhappy reviewer a free something or refund of their camera.

Not any one site in particular but ads overall got way to obnoxious in the mid 2000's. Pop up videos that autoplay for new movies and cars, flash ads on everyweb site that blast out "congratulations you won a new.....click here to claim your prize" For whatever reason my boss still uses IE, he gets tons of viruses on his computers, many from legitimate sites (MSN once) probably though ads that they have no control over.

  13. Re:Universal Service for Broadband on 'Bandwidth Divide' Could Bar Some From Free Online Courses · · Score: 1

Same for us. We were lucky Verizon put up a new tower in 2011 less than a mile from us, we use a cradlepoint router with a 3/4g modem plugged into it. But it's still 20 times slower than real wired internet (150-180k max) and more expensive. Before that it was satellite internet, that was terrible. First there is a minimum 900ms ping to anywhere, usually more like 1100-1300, so any web page took atleast 5 seconds to open, of course online games and any voip service would have been useless. There was the 6-9pm slowdowns, where you were lucky to get 20k download speeds, just 4x faster than dial up. 325MB daily limit, cant recall how many time we got home only to find my sister had used all our internet watching videos and left us a 90% speed cut that was slower than dial up.

  14. That happens to us. We have no cable or dsl net on 'Bandwidth Divide' Could Bar Some From Free Online Courses · · Score: 1

We live in a rural area, at the time we only had satellite internet with a 325MB per day limit (then they cut your speed 90%) , my wife was taking on line classes and they had hours and hours of streaming only videos to watch. She could only watch a little over an hour before we would get cut off for 24 hours. I ended up find some stream rippers meant mainly saving peoples po0n and was able to save the videos at work, then bring them home on thumb drives. The college gave no downloading options, it was stream only and no streaming options (high or low bandwidth). We have since been able to get 3G wireless from Verizon, which is much faster, but still have monthly limits that prevent us from watching netflix, youtube and whenever possible, I still download large update files at work and bring them home.

They would probably be happy if you came in and hauled away a ton of their garbage too.

  17. Bandcamp is on Music Industry Sees First Revenue Increase Since 1999 · · Score: 1

an excellent site. The money goes right back to the artist, no quarterly (or longer) payback times. A band can record a song or album at their friends house who has a studio in the back room, mix it and put it up for sale. Still, most people likely buy mp3 or m4a and don't know what a flac is but when they are listening on 4$ ear buds they grabbed at walgreens it dosent really matter. I would like to see a higher quality sound file made available at some time, even a 16bit 44.1 cd is only about 1/4 of what many albums are recorded and mastered in. Last year a band (Bombskare) posted some new songs in studio quality for free download, I think they were 24bit 19,000khz, about 250MB per song.

  18. This may have been Windows last chance on HP Continuing To Flee Windows Reservation With Android Tablet · · Score: 1

When MS put out Vista and no one wanted it, we all clung on to XP then jumped on Win 7 soon as it came out. Now we have a 3rd party (Tablets) to turn to, by the time Win 9 comes out and things are put back right no one will care. Because of Win 8, the post PC era got a strong kick start from the very people who helped create it.

  20. People buy more of a product they like ? on Windows 7 Still Being Sold On Up To 93% of British PCs · · Score: 1

Ive seen here in the US how new pc sales have fallen faster than in a long time but look at the Best Buy and Office Max ads and you have no choice, everything is Win 8. People don't want Win 8, so they don't buy a new computer. At my work, for desktop's we have 5 Win 7's and 3 XP's. All of them working great, the XP's lack the hardware to goto Win 7 and since they serve their purpose just fine they are likely to be in use for several more years. Even with out security updates, with AVG free & Firefox with Ad Block Plus on them and we are good. The Win 7's computers we have will likely remain Win 7 for their entirety, no reason spend money to get something you dont like. Unless Win 9 is better, but I doubt it. Microsoft has thrown away their desktop OS sales, in hopes of getting people to buy a Windows phone & tablet since they look like a Win 8 PC. It wont be much longer before Google or someone else steps in swipes the desktop OS away from MS.

I don't see where these reports get started. Most missile launches Ive seen have left smoke trails of their own, there is no trail leading from the ground to the sky. And the several dash cam videos show a light coming down from the sky slowly getting brighter, peaking then fading out, no quick bright explosion. Missile defense systems are made to detect launches to give maximum warning time, we probably had a few seconds notice before this entered the atmosphere since it wasn't really that large of an object.

Most of the other local computer stores closed up in the 2005-2008 range. Electronics have lost their appeal, they are becoming like appliances.
