    I'm sure you both don't quite understand XML then. It's about data being accessible in a tree instead of a grid. It has similar benefits to using OO programming over procedural^w^w^w^w^w^w^w^w similar benefits to using highways instead of small streets to travel long distances.

    You had a stapler to yourself? At my workplace, we'd be lucky to get two for the entire department and our budget only afforded ten staples a day! Our workstations were in a similar state, whatever we worked on had to be scrounged from the dump and the desks only gave us an inch between each programmer!

    It's simple, objects with negative mass would have a negative gravitational force on the surrounding objects. Say, two objects with equal mass, but one is negative. They wouldn't have an affect on one another gravitationally, because the net force is zero.

    AKA negative masses would "fall" up.

    I work in a small computer repair shop in the GTA, and they way I promote FOSS is by putting it on customers machines, if it needed a format.

    "Also, these programs are part of our default package, you have 7zip, infrarecorder, oo.org etc which do XYZ and are all available under the same license as firefox, so they're free on the internet."

    I've also recommended OO.org to customers looking for MS office and had positive results so far.
    The one customer that i've setup debian for has also been very happy. Considering all she does is watch videos on youtube and talk on MSN, i got lucky on the support side of things.

    Just letting people know the software exists will get FOSS to where we want it, it's just a matter of time.

    Of course! and while they're at it, why don't they outlaw running aswell. Only professional athletes and burglars need to run. There's no reason anyone would even WANT to run if they weren't receiving dollars on the penny. Kitchen knifes are a fairly dangerous item, most serial killers use them you know. Might want to get rid of books too, I hear that smart criminals get away with more crime.

    This kind of thinking reminds me of my mother.

    Maybe, but regular cat5 transmits with a frequency of 100mhz. When you're sinking that much money into a project like this special networking hardware can go a long way.
