Yes and that sucked for us that are not americans. I doubt that most of the adults here (sweden) could answer it correctly, but luckily there was a cheat (ctrl-x?):)
Ahh, yes because changing the port something is talking on is totaly impossible! Are you the same kind of person that think javascript is enough for form validation?
Yes, but if you are expecting to get a GTA-clone when playing Mafia you will be disappointed, I know I was. The fun in GTA was that you could do things your own way, didn't really matter how you did the missions just that they were done. If you took a tank and drove over people and killed everyone in the way and got the FBI chasing you didn't really matter just that you got the mission done.
In mafia I felt it was much more controlled, you had to do things as the makers of the game intended, and the plot was much more linear you had to do mission A, then B, then C etc...
I also felt that the engine/graphics was much more boring, it didn't feel as smooth as gta (and no, not in the we-get-more-fps-in-game-a way). Just that I thought the graphics in GTA felt like it enhanced the game while in Mafia it felt like it was something just needed to play the game.
So all in all, I was quite disappointed at Mafia, not that it is a bad game just that I kept comparing it to GTA all the time and compared to that it falls short.
as an aside...most people are too lazy to check md5's anyway.....
Yes, but say you get a 100 hits for a search, all the same size, and 10 of them has a weird looking md5sums and the rest are all the same. Then you would use it. Of course, you can spoof the md5sum since the client is sending it and stuff.
I like to play broodwars a lot more than cs too, and it is not because of my computer (I get 72 fps in cs in 1600x1200, and i do not need any more:)). I simply think broodwars is a much better game, it is far more balanced and fun to play.
In CS you do not really play that much (unless you are really good and live the whole time), most of the time you are observing and waiting for some moron to step out of his hiding place for the last 50 rounds. Broodwars you play constantly, there is no waiting. There is always things to do, and not to mention that there is no thing or feature that is best. All have their weaknesses and strengths.
haha.. but sadly, it is not far from the truth. A lot of people cheat, since they can. If there is a way to cheat in an online game there will be cheating, and if there is no way... someone will come up with a way;)
And CS trusts the clients waaaay too much which opens up all sorts of cheats.
Done. It still sucks. It might work for short and small text documents, but think about keeping track of all the changes you can do in a huge image for a long time and you will notice that it is not a good idea since you will run out of memory.
It lowers your maintenance costs to cut down on the number of browsers you support.
Only if you write crap from the beginning. I work as a webdeveloper (most perl) and I don't see why anyone would block out browsers or even how they can design something so badly it (almost deliberate it seems sometimes) breaks compability.
I like the Indy board too, we got one here at work and play a little flipper is a damn fun way to end the day or start the weekend. Problem is that it's not really aligned, I, and everyone else it seems, ends up using the left flipper more and it get more worn out and it's harder to use it which means more tries and more wear.. etc...

You sir, are now officially my idol.
Ahh.. well you should see the movie, it's great :)
Let me make a wild guess, you've not seen The shining?

Now I just can't wait until GTA4 comes to the pc.
[..] but how do kids today find the time for all this MP3 crap after handling the books, beer, and babes?
:)
Easy, you see the babes (or, more accuratly pictures/movie clips of them) is a huge part of p2p
How the hell is this offtopic? it's the most ontopic thing I've read in quite a while ;)
It's sad because it's true
So stop reading?
I can't figure out if "YOURE" is a typo or a joke, based on the poor english in some of those spam messages ;)
Also that StarCraft is a much better game than WC3. ;)

That is why I think it is still played a lot.

I need some coffee, but that was funny.
Think about it.

Ehh.. no it doesn't, it only stops the ones not able to do it correctly. Ie fake the referer in this case.
Yeah, it was a satire on VH1's "Behind the music" and imo one of the funniest episodes ever.
Ohhh! not only are you trolling, you are trolling in swedish! *cheer*
Hahaha, thanks for giving me the laugh of the day by reading this thread

My other favorite was the Indiana Jones board.

That's the beauty of the almighty mplayer, when you got it you don't need anything else for streaming videos.
Heh.. isn't the whole point of posting as AC to be just that, anonymous. Then why the hell did you sign it? ;) (assuming you did and not some impostor)
