Do the same for the Boeing, but put a little LED right next to it so they won't miss it in the dark.
Not a bad idea but it creates a new issue. Namely how do you tell the indicator is working if the LED malfunctions? Instruments are generally quite reliable but not 100%. That's a fundamental issue with any status indicator - false positives or worse, false negatives. The problem can be with the device or the indicator and it can be difficult to tell which is the problem. The indicators are still worth doing if the failure modes are severe enough but it doesn't completely eliminate the risk.
You just need an indicator that shows that the first indicator is working.
Going out on a limb here.... while Intel claims the problems affect the 6th, 7th, and 8th gen processors, I bet they probably didn't bother testing or auditing earlier systems. Hasn't ME been around much longer than that?
Really, this ought to be factory disabled by OEMs and only shipped enabled to large corporate customers.
Yes ME has been around for 10 years or more. I would not be surprised that the older ones have the same issues or very similar ones. Unfortunately I work for a large university that purchased all of our systems with vPro enabled so no help here.
These battery problems are really getting dangerous. Where is that breakthrough Li-ion battery technology from that "Goodenough" guy that would promise safer batteries?
There is a ton of code is slash (the codebase that/. runs on) that works with IPv4 only addresses. It takes a bit of work to make all of that code work properly with IPv6. One interesting issue is subnets. Some of slash's limit put on users is also put on the subnet as well mostly to block AC's that may use many IP address within a subnet. On IPv6 the notion of a subnet in the way it is used in slash is a hard to pin down. Some major decisions must be made to make IPv6 work similar to what IPv4 slash does in these cases.
Note: this is based on the older code that/. ran on when D2 was a child, the last time that the code was updated and open source. It may have change drastically since then, but I doubt it.
At one time Slashdot's code was open source, and was available for download (and this older version still is available on GitHub). Is there any chance to see the current code made open source again. I would love to see what has changed in the code to make it what it is today.
Wait a sec, SJW articles are supposed to be posted only on Fridays. That way people have time to get the latest penis and vagina counts for their office.
Since it is a holiday in the States this week, we have to post the Friday stories early.
Well they did not sell any o f the unstocked items this week so the predictive ordering system did not order any. Or it sent two and both were sold so it sends another two, which will be sold immediately.
I blame this system for why they get rid of items from the system. They never order enough to keep the shelves stocked, so the system thinks that they hardly sell any so it is a good item to remove from the inventory.
When rotors warp there is a single answer as to why. They were not designed/manufactured thick enough. Don't blame driving styles or any bullshit like that. Brake rotors should be able to glow red and still not warp.
Worse still, with the regenerative braking system there the rotors shouldn't even need to be as high-spec as those in comparable sports cars.
And that is why there is an issue. Regenerative breaking does not help much when you do a panic stop on the highway from 65 MPH. A smaller sized rotor would be easier to warp in that scenario.
No it will not increase the cost of outsourcing. There were most like more than 1000 babies born in India during the heat wave so the population is still growing.
Yes mouse hovers should be avoided. If you want on this button have a click toggle through all three states in order and leave the mouse hover for direct choice, therefore both usage patterns would work.
But email is not secure.
Which tri-state area? I guess all of them.

You may not throw up from the bus ride, but the VR experience will get the same output.

These were breakthrough batteries :)
Why stop at 2 years? Why not lifetime?
I always read lifetime warranties as the the lifetime of the device.
We talking about Apple or RIM?
Yes
And nothing of value was lost.
Services for Uinx was nice in it allowed me to connect to NFS shares and allowed for ls in cmd sessions.

But I could probably do the hammer thing with a rock I pick up near the location I want to enter, rather than carry a pair of bolt cutters with me.

Your car might be equipped with a pretenstioning system in the seat belts that only are activated when the crash sensors detect a collision.

Well at least it is a dry heat.
But what was the humidity level? 40C at 30%RH is much different than 40C 90%RH.
I was thinking giving enough male students sex changes until the ratio was equal.

Sorry to tell you scissors are a lever, so it is only 8: wheel, fire, screw, rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.
