    Thought that I just read that almost everyone is *bailing* on PCM and looking into memristors because they can't get the power down on PCM. PCM work is farther along, but many feel that it's not going to happen and feel that memristors have more promise. I, for one, welcome our memristory overlords.

    So incredibly f-ing doubtful. There's no way that you're passing FCC without an antenna engineer for a greenfield (or even non-trivially modified) design for a product that's even 1% as complex (not to mention as high-revenue) as this.

    I'd bet all the Apple products I own on it.

    I guess you haven't been reading the entry to which you're replying.
    Apparently to you the last piece of the puzzle is that last 10% that takes 90(0-00)% of the effort. So, as long as you number these days with at least four digits, you might get some agreement. Otherwise your argument only holds any water when talking about the x86 bladder, as has been pointed out numerous times already.

    I wouldn't be caught dead using transistors without Argon in them. They go to 11, but need to be burned-in for 20-40 hours before they sound optimal. Trust me, I used to be a salesman before I found a brain surgeon that installs.
