Instead of increasing defense funding, how about we stop making people mad enough to attack us? That way, we can spend our money on more important things.
...is for people to understand their own religions!
Muhammad is NOT holy or to be worshiped. He is not supposed to be depicted for the sole reason that he NOT be holy or worshiped. These extremists are taking this the exact opposite that they should.
Disclaimer: I am only targeting some Muslims because they are in the spotlight. Some people in all religions are guilty.
I see a few amazing ones, but I don't get what's amazing about "Can you put peroxide in your ear?" I do it all the time. It makes perfect sense. *shrug* of course, calling people stupid has never made sense to me. The adage "There's no such thing as a stupid question" applies here very nicely...
I scored 130-140 on my IQ tests (depending on the test, I took two or three through my life -_- stupid schools) and I know for a fact my brain is slower than average. I just retain knowledge above average. So by most definitions, I'm dumb and smart at the same time!
My first thought was an epicly-long "NOOOO..." but upon seeing the pic, idk. It may work. I hated Window's ribbon, but FF may make it work. We'll have to just wait and see, won't we?
People have been talking about and "calculating" these chances for decades at least, and the answers have consistently been bouncing back and forth between "thousands" and "one" civilization. Every single article on the subject has the same bottom line: we don't know.
In the style of "turn every movie into a game before it even comes out" we should get a shiny new Tron game (joysticks anyone?:-D) by this Christmas!
Sarcasm aside, a new Tron game would be wicked. *goes to play the old Tron again*
I agree. The tangible object just seems more... permanent especially for computers (which, if they crash, will take all those downloaded games with them).
Besides, I just like the feel of putting in the CD when I play a game. Don't ask why. I just do.
I'm on a WISP and it's great. I'm in a rural area, so it was either that or satellite, and, as previously stated, satellite is not good for online gaming. With WISP though, I still have latencies in the 100 range. It's nice./babbling
I've been working on this. They beat me to it... :(
"...make specially tailored beams for a variety of uses."
Read: blowing stuff up.
I love science!

Didn't Nintendo already announce this for their next handheld?
Dam those beavers.

This would also give the cows more muscle, which equals more and better beef. I can see this being feasible sometime, possibly...
I only watch two shows anyway, so I just watch them off Hulu on my wide screen monitor. Fewer commercials and I can watch whenever I want :)

Not ends, CYCLES. Get the headline right, please.
Actually, I thought about it. It probably stands for "Touch Screen"
If DS supposedly stood for "Double Screen" does TS stand for "TRIPLE Screen"? That's a scary thought...

And I thought the big movement right now was to stamp out profiling... how naive I was...

He promised more than he gave. No surprise there- just like every politician through history.
The one I have is around $10 or so. I know it varies a LOT though.

Welcome to the club, Iran!

Doesn't this run into the small problem of:
"observing a quantum event changes that event"?
