I'm using a Belgian keyboard, and it doesn't work either. With pipes, backslashes and other goodies, scriptkiddies will really have a fun time developing exploits!
As a cable viewer in Belgium, part of my cable fee goes to BBC (not BBC World Service). OK, it's not direct, the cable company pays a set amount. But I'm sure that the cable company has calculated how much we owe them for BBC (only 1 and 2);-)
I stopped university and got a 'lower' but much more practical degree. This actually meant I was on the market sooner, and by the time I would have gotten my university degree, I was making the same amount of money as somebody who gets out of university. And guess what? I already had work experience...
University is something you (should) do for the love of science, not for just getting a job.
If you were to put your giant plasma TV in front of your house, playing whatever popular non-free channel, I guess that you would be at fault rather than the innocent people in the street who innocently 'connect' to your TV. You cannot blame them for watching something they can hardly avoid.
I think that for this one it's worth going to a digital theatre. I've seen it on wednesday in a digital one in the outskirts of Brussels. The only annoying bit were the two sons of expats who were chatting throughout the first 1/2 hour. If it weren't for some foul language from my part, and threatening to send some Storm troopers to their home at night, they would have gone on...
thorough contemplation?
I'ts hardly about politics anymore... the core foundation of democracy: go into a discussion with the people on how to improve your society!
It's about what those two men did 30 years ago.
It's about the rest of the world.
It's about religion. (The very idea of mingling politics and religion is most repulsive.)
Well,
just shows that (male?) Slashdot readers are just a bunch of shallow guys, making sure that their brain is not always in control. And we are proud of that;-)
Finally somebody who makes sense: if everything is already in correct XML, XSLT is the way to go!
The major browsers support XSLT client-side, and it would indeed be quite easy to have a server where the xslt stylesheet is applied !
I know, I should avoid duplicating what has already been said...
But when finally somebody makes sense between all those comments about CSS, I feel like supporting them a little... even though it is early in the morning;-)
AR Systems is a platform for building applications containing a workflow.
I know that Remedy is mostly known for it's Helpdesk software (you might know it from the Asset Management, if your company does manage it's assets). But this is merely one specific type of workflow oriented application.
BTW, you can download it for free...
All different countries should use the same system. I already had the problem that I could not pay for coffee or cool drinks at the machine in Luxemburg because only these so-called 'cash-cards' could be used. The problem was that my Belgian cash-card (PROTON) was not compatible.

I do understand your preference for honour with a u, but what's up with that z in capitalise ?
If specs for Vista don't change, this machine might just be up for it!

It won't do anything. The question is: What will we do with (or should I use 'to'?) it ?

Where's the shit key on a US keyboard ?

In Dutch Government a tax on mp3-players was proposed. Passing it will take a lot of discussion ;-)
Couldn't help but react: This is a very non-PC joke !

The dump in the North Sea, is on a place in front of Heist (small town in Belgium). Information about it can be found in This link.
How about changing your keyboard regularly. As a consultant in the Benelux, I get type on different keyboards every 2 days...

btw, did you ever think that 'some' biometrics could be extremely annoying for some people

The Brits who managed to rule half of the world in the most arrogant way?
The French whose colonial politics showed arrogance?
The Belgians, who were oppressed for ages, but who managed to have an arrogant colonial past. The Germans and Italians who... ?
Or are you just trying to generalise and give an opinion on Europeans in general. Yes? Well, That is arrogant

On the Belgian PROTON card, you can check the amount of money left on the device with another little device (most of the time this is a keyhanger).
(I assume that Slashdot and the poster did check this link before...)
