No, it's not a waste of money. GOD. THIS MONEY CAME FROM THE ARMY'S ADVERTISING BUDGET. If it wasn't spent on this, it would be spent on probably 1 more commercial. THIS IS WAY more bang for the buck, comparitively.
I never mentioned building schools.
Original quote:
You could create and fund probably over 7 schools with that tiny budget. Every little bit helps.
So if creating doesn't mean building, how else to schools get created?
Who said anything about fixes? It's all EXTRA content. Mechassault gives you new mechs and new maps, etc. . . Don't get lippy and defensive because you are jealous of my hardware.
I've been playing PS2 games online for free since before the Xbox came out. No service, no problem! With THPS3 & 4, the service is built it and free. Only games like PSO or Everquest cost money.
How is that possible? The XBox came out November 15, 2001. The PS/2 network adapter was only released recently.
Overall, I like Sony's online gaming policies better. You see, Xbox doesn't come with online gaming built in, it is a $50 add-on, and that's only for 1 year. That's kind of deceptive to me. MS forbids developers from doing their own online game systems, so no-cost systems are impossible on Xbox.
Completely untrue. Microsoft does not force companies to use XBox live at all. Also, the network adapter is built into the machine -- there are ways to use it without XBL.
Well XBL only costs $50 for the kit. Basically that buys you a headset and a year subscription to the service. Since the hardware is already in the machine, the pricing difference is rather trivial. Except for when you have to start actually paying for games on the PS/2, then you will soon be paying more than I did for XBL on the whole.
About the MMORPG, Everquest: Online Adventures is due out pretty soon. I have played the beta and it's shaping up prety well.
You read nothing of the review you twit. They reviewed the product after release, not during the beta. That's all that quoted excerpt is saying. Yeah, Tom's Hardware has no credibility -- sure, whatever. Please, think twice before you post drivel like this without even reading the source material.
I am in total disbalief that an upstanding bullshit free site such as slashdot as posted this article.
disbalief? Oh, I see you are a part of the same Hooked on Phonics program -- the one that gets its graduates jobs at news sites -- as the slashdot editors.
Uh, you're wrong. New console games and new PC games almost always cost $50 on the nose. If anything, PC games are breaking the trend and getting more expensive, especially if you go for the fancy "Collectors Edition" so you get a shiny box and an arm patch or something.

Researchers who added E. coli toxins to a dish containing rapidly dividing cancer cells could almost brought the cancerous growth to a halt.
Maybe English teachers should try harder to bring tense changing to a halt.
That is simply not true. What a fucking biased, wrong, and stereotype riddled brain you have there.

I hope you know you are a retard, and that megahertz does not directly equate with speed.
lol, i love tards.
$230? XThe MSRP for the XBox (even with the 2 bundled games: JSRF & Sega GT) is $200. Costco screwed you (doubtfully for the first time).

Except that implies that people still play Diablo 2, and that it was ever a good game. LOL!
No, it's not Duke Nukem Forever, but something some folks on the net have been asking us to do for ages.
... But isn't that... haven't they been working on... aren't they... nevermind. It's too easy.
I wish I had "+1 way to kick his ass" in my moderator's bag.

I don't think it's a name chage so much as an abbreviation. If you look at all the games they still say 'Playstation' and 'Playstation 2'.

i love you.

Uhhhh there is a win32 version of it. GG.
UT 2003 is a port from the xbox game "Unreal Championship"
WTF? are you on crack? If anything, it's the other way around.
Holy god. Remove the stick from your ass. Maybe it will enable you to laugh and/or percieve humor.
It ringed three times through the movie! And you may think that is no big deal.
No, the big deal is that you said "ringed".
*shiver*
It's all about perspective.
Regardless of sexual orientation, that damn image is from a perspective NO ONE should ever see.
