    erm, J# is an ms port of java. C# isn't. It's much less migraine inducing than java for starters.

    Actually, there are quite a few very well written opengl managed libs that take full advantage of hardware acceleration, written by people other than microsoft. Some of these are even free and open. I understand you think what you believe is correct, but can you all please ease up on the zealotness?

    I for one look forward to games coming out using .net and managed opengl libs. Suddenly game makers won't have to do much work at all to write games that perform well on windows, linux, even osx. Sounds like removing lock-in to me

    Have you ever tried to use an app that needed 12gb of memory, when 8gb of it is swap????? You'll be sitting there FOREVER waiting for it to do anything as it's moving 8gb of crap to disk. Basically, if you hit this point, you don't need more swap, you need more RAM! 2gb of swap is plenty. Regardless of setup or application. If this runs short, buy more ram and use a 64bit OS.

    Why does everyone keep insisting on pushing CE? Any 'low end' x86 device these days is capable of running XPe. And XPe doesn't restrict your application pool to a minimal set of buggy, broken, poorly maintained, half-useful apps the way CE does. Just let it die already! Please, for the love of god let it die! (troll / flamebait / honest opinion from someone who's been forced to use CE for nigh on 10 years... take your pick and mod accordingly)

    Personally, I don't see why anyone would be embarrassed by this. Frankly I'd love the chance to say that to a telephone service operator without them having cause to play the 'omg you're being abusive' card and hanging up without actually finishing the job or receiving my complaints so their KPI stats look better. Which happens a lot. Specially with a certain Australian Telco monopoly I have to deal with a lot.

    I've never heard of a computer worm that can reproduce without actually having their code executed. Unless you're counting smurf amplifying subnets and ping packets perhaps?
