only negative to this strategy is that online play may be diminished.

Changed my life, literally. I played video games when I was young but those made me a 'Gamer.' Recently bought a complete 'Hero's Quest: So you want to be a Hero?' in the original box with all the inserts (Prodigy, etc). Such awesome games.

My advice to anyone who ever buys a complete set of memory for a new computer. If you have any problems just demand that all the sticks be replaced or you want a full refund. Memory issues are some of the most time consuming BS wastes of time there is when it comes to computer repair. I could have replaced the memory 4 times over in the amount of time I spent working on it only to find out it was more than one bad stick in the same batch. I'll never get that time back again :(

  18. if they would add mouse/keyboard to their games on Are Consoles Holding Back PC Gaming? · · Score: 1

they would completely KILL pc gaming. i've heard the following excuses from developers as to why they won't do it:

    1. the single player game would have to be rebalanced for mouse/keyboards (in other words things would have to move faster cuz you don't fumble around like you do with a controller).
    2. inconsistencies in mouse/keyboard hardware and performance.
    3. balancing issues with multi-player. (they aren't kidding here).

All of these issues are just excuses and could be easily overcome. How much FASTER could these companies companies develop games if they only had to target specific blackbox hardware? I can't even imagine the millions they would save.

will still pay for the damn thing. Gamers are some of the biggest mindless consumers there are right after the Apple fanatics :)

You get a few companies like Rockstar who release DLC which is basically the equivalent of an entire new game. That's the kind of DLC people want.

The funny thing is that DLC is a perfect way for publishers to make sure they will always get some $$ on used game sales. BUT savy people know that if you just wait 6-12 months you'll be able to buy the SE version of a game that includes all the DLC. Greed, it's what's for dinner.
