What NAS To Buy?

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had was with iRobot. I'm not going to go into details but basically our roomba broke after 3 months of use and it took them another 9 months to resolve the issue. 9 months.
I will never purchase another product from them if it can be helped.
The week the MyShare was released. I also notified the gpl-violations. They (gpl violations, I never heard back from the busybox guys) were too busy suing other companies to follow up until November of 2007 I guess:)

80% of the appeal of the Wii is wanting something you cannot have. Once you get one you realize there is really nothing to it other than the Wii-mote and after awhile it feels like a gimmick. Just get a gamecube or a playstation 2 and open yourself to about a zillion $20 games.
i've had both a Wii and a PS3 since launch. I use the PS3 everyday and I haven't turned on the Wii since April. Primary reasons are this:
1. the wii-mote gimmick gets old. 2. the graphics look like total ass on an HDTV larger than 40ish inches.
I really believe that the only reason they are so popular is because of the artificial scarcity that nintendo has invented. people always want what they can't have.
they are also violating the GPL by using BusyBox without any GPL license notification (it has been reported). beyond that I've had good luck with mine.
Yeah I found out about that afterward. I'm not really concerned about it. All my accounts are FDIC insured and I'll just move things into my ING Direct if there are issues with Countrywide. In the meantime I'm going to keep it there for the 5.5% apy.

saw a few stories about the HD-DVD camp paying studios but I certainly don't remember hearing anything like that from the blu-ray supporters.
