Not that Starbucks isn't the most evil coffee store out there. But, if you just get a plain cup of coffee you only pay around $1.50. I'm not too much of a coffee snob, but at least at Starbucks I know what I get regardless where I am, and it's in my experience much better than your average gas station's assortment. Other viable options would be a "real" coffee shop but you're not going to save a significant amount of money, and you could go to other chains which in most cases offer the advantage of being franchises rather than corporate owned. I had a cup of plain coffee at Dunkin Donuts this morning and paid over $2 and it wasn't because of the Dunkin Donut experience, it was for the coffee.

I too had to go through the months (12 I think) of drug treatment for the same thing. Made me the default designated driver my junior year of college.
When it showed up on my skin test I assumed it was because I was vaccinated against TB in the 8th grade, but apparently the vaccine isn't very good. The TB vaccine is not a fun one to get either as it often develops in to a bruised wound full of pus, and makes an appealing punching target for the lucky ones who diddn't have to get the shot.

In which country is the number of amateur athletes declining? I drive by crowded golf courses, softball, baseball and soccer fields every day. I doubt many of those people are getting paid to play. I think the small number of athletes making money on their sport would be playing their respective sports for the fun of it even if they didn't get paid .
