It's hard to know whether you're trolling or not. There are OS X servers out there and they perform rather well. I know because I admin 50 of them, and have met hundreds of others who administer them in school systems across the state.
You may also be familiar with iTunes, or Apple's movie trailer website. I'm sure a large part of those are Xserves and Raids. I'm not saying they are maintenance free, but they are out there.
Furthermore, a few years back there was a rather large beowulf cluster of mac towers that scored quite well on top500.org.
OS X is unix, and claiming ignorance about unix on a site like this is well...
Exactly, charge 300 bucks for 30 minutes, give out 4 rides a day, and in 100 days you've re-couped 120 grand. 300 bucks may be a bit steep, but at 150/ride, you'll get what you paid for in a bit over 200 days...
Not to sound like an Apple apologoist (thoug I am a fan and a user) I think Window's UAC's annoyances go beyond 1 Apple commercial which hasn't ran in months.
Sometimes it's just nice to "Click-click-click-done" on windows, but it's even nicer to "click-done" on OS X. (And that's even without involving their PR Machine.)
No, your are not I have a n 3100 that I use to make calls, 4+ days idle +6h talk and likes my BMW and a n95 (1d, 2h) that I sometimes use at my desk or if I need a GPRS modem
Is that HEX? I couldn't decode it, much less parse it.
Cut him some slack man, we may be slashdotters, but we're still mainly american. And you know how well that bodes for our expertise in geography. Hell, I myself thought he was talking about the lake, not the country.
Except of course that Verizon charges and arm and a leg for unlimited data, so Microsoft just spent millions on making sure about 114 people will get their search engine as the default.
Thank you Ray for all you do for us.
Don't bother calling me until they start girding their loins. ...
On second thought, don't even call me then.

Is it a generational thing? Does it have something to do with Lawnmower Man?
You should go out on the stage, strutting out "Developers, Developers, Developers, Developers!" but in style...
Show them how it's really done.
(Shame about your UID ;)
The super-shotgun? Or alternatively BFG? (Though you may need a red key for that one.)

You're not the blond lady with the big guns in the video, by any chance?
Yes, but you don't expect anyone on a site like this to actually know your random "factoid".
What we would also like to see is how many computing powers such as this equal a standard US LOC?
All the windows experts are scratching their heads now.
That's OK, maybe that'll make them get off of our lawn too.
Please don't tell my wife, last thing I need on a Friday is to be beaten by a Black Hole.
She'd be all like "I heard that the large hardon collider can pound a black hole for minutes, maybe you could work up your stamina like that?"

From a ruling in 2001, they are certainly a monopoly, and have abused that status.

Anna Ohura will play Faye Valentine.
She is well known amongst followers of Japanese film arts.

The irony is on you, because I think he bought his account.

That being said, his posts are relevant, on topic and informative.
Sorry MFH :(
Will this be the search engine on Zune?
"Heey girl! Lemme google that song for you on Kumo, and I'll be squirting it to ya in a second! Girl? Hey girl?"

Haha, yeah, that's a good trick. It sure spooks the kids inside.
