I love how software companies complain about losses.
They lose out on possible sales.
A loss to me is when you have a physical good. It gets stolen. You have to pay taxes and the people who sold you the materials that make up that good.
Call me crazy but I don't see Walmart / Bestbuy ect in the news constantly about their stolen merchandise. Anyone have comparisons to how much they lose when you compound merchandise, tax liability, security expenses.
I'm pretty sure walmart has full time security monitors and expenses that far exceed Apple's and have to deal with clepto maniacs, senile old people, kids, homeless ect...
I don't own an iPhone, but how are these apps pirated? I thought that they were all digitally signed and so forth to prevent this? I know you can "jail break" phones, but I didn't realize it let you do this.....I am just curious.

Now I played their demo which I didnt like very much.
Too much anticipation for something builds up my hopes only to crush them.
When something that has been in dev for 5 years like too many hands were in the pot.
Anyone else feel that way like some games that get announced and delayed feel hollow. Like they've been built from the ground up only to be stripped down for scrap then rebuilt. You end up with something like a rushed sequel when there was no original to reminisce about the glory days.
Maybe I'm wrong but thats just my feelings.
End games pretty much died when they decided to have franchises that constantly regurgitate the same story.
This goes back for as long as I have been playing games.
Wing Commander, Wolfenstien, Donkey Kong, Pac Man.... there is always a sequel, story, and never ending story....
Now games are have no ending because the dev cycle has shrunk and demand is the same..
