    Every so often one of the local papers has a article
    about the balloon bomb that killed a family in southern Oregon.

    Fort Stevens (Astoria) was also shelled early in the war.

    You have all the "symptoms" correct. If you have not
    done so already find a good library and read about
    TAG education and probems.

    If you are not for real you have at least read the
    material and know the lingo.

    As for the comments of "get over it" don't you wish
    you could. Lord only knows the education system
    tried "make you get over it".

    If you are near a university that has an education
    department see if they have a subdepartment for
    TAG education. It is a subspecialty. They may have
    their own collection of books etc..

    For laughs try the books of Richard Feynman.

    The admin people (accounting, personnel, admin data
    processing) never talk to the academics. It is just not done.
    After a number is major systems at the U of O (over 27 years) I can tell you,it doesn't happen.
    The academics may not even be aware a system is changing until their secretary can't log on( or more likely is gone for training).

    The real problem is some guy who got past the shrink, his girlfriend/wife runs off with the neighbor and he's suicidal . It only affects a few people when the guy shoots his wife and kids and then kills himself (this never happens of course) , think of the quality of the day if he decides that sending off a missle will get rid of every body who caused him grief. He's already probably not to happy about sitting in the ground in North Dakota.

    I wonder if the majority of the people are so easily pigeonholed as the adv people would like to think.

    Actualy china has been trying to slow economic expansion. The current rate is believed to be unsustainable. It has been leading to "excesses".
    There is official worry that the bubble may burst,
    therefore they are attempting a "soft landing".

    I had a TIVO for a day, until I found out I could not record without paying TIVO $10/month.
    When I bot it I thought I could program it like a VCR. Turns out you can, if you pay them.

    The idea is great, no more tapes, but TIVO's
    version isn't it.

    I have seen two references to a contract provision
    in finanacing of last year, that prohibits SCO from buying back stock unless it is employees stock that was accquired in some incentive plan (option).
    Anyone know this as fact?

    If true the announcement says more than it means, and provides a good way for insiders to bail.
